Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground, Kalispell, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Very quiet place off the roadway. Level back in spots although there are pull thru too. Clean restrooms/showers and pretty good size laundry facility. We pulled in here with a storm right behind us. We had lost our outside vent cover and had a hole in the top of the trailer. We had purchased a new cover to replace it but no way to get up on the roof to fix it since our trailer does not have a ladder. Mentioned this to the hostess when we checked in that we might have to go get a ladder and she had a ladder for us to fix it. Got it fixed just as a hail storm hit. We were close enough to the office so the wifi strength wasn't too bad. When making online reservations you have to call them after they receive it to confirm. I guess this is a safety feature and they take your credit card # to hold a spot. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Mountain View RV Park & Campground, Sundance, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice location if you are planning to go to Devil's Tower (just 1/2 hr away) and Mount Rushmore/Crazy Horse (about 2 hours). We had stayed here 16 years ago and decided to stay again. Sites are level with pull thrus for the bigger rigs on the top level. Pool was not operational yet when we pulled in but they said it would be ready the next week. Bathroom/showers clean as was the rest of the campground. 3 available WiFi sites to choose from. Reservations suggested since campground was 2/3 to 3/4 full while we were there for 3 nights. We camped at Mountain View RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Wendover KOA, West Wendover, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Just passing thru. Place was quiet - not many RVers. WiFi not existent and pool not operational. Short walk to casino but they offered a shuttle to ride up there. Bathroom nice size but shower stalls a little small. Doing roadwork nearby so a little tricky to get into. We camped at Wendover KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Fernley RV Park, Fernley, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Pulled in here for a night on our way through. We did not have reservations but they did find us a back in spot. Evidently they had a softball tournament in town. We had to have the guy 2 campsites away move his truck out of our spot. They had kids and noisy music - at least they quit at 8:30ish. Place was quiet except for the barking dogs in the mobile home park next door. We camped at Fernley RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Rawlins KOA, Rawlins, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Place close to the freeway (as are the other 2 RV parks here) so you will get freeway traffic noise. WiFi pretty much nonexistent and if you had it - it was only for one computer at a time. They were doing roadwork at the off ramp at the time so it was a little hard to get to. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Caspar Beach RV Park, Mendocino, California

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Very tight spots. Some of the road is one lane and could use a mirror to see if anyone coming before turning down into campsites or pulling out. Restrooms were clean. Showers were coin operated (did not use). Give it a plus for short walking distance to beach (walked down for sunset). Quiet time is supposedly 10 p.m. but neighbors were noisy for a couple hours after. Will probably not stay here again. We camped at Caspar Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

49er RV Ranch, Columbia, California

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Great hospitality by staff and good location for many sites to do and see around area (Columbia, Jamestown, Murphy's, Big Trees, etc.). Some of campground is on hillside so getting into tight spots can be tricky but staff is great in helping you into your spot. Showers/bathrooms could use upgrading (hot water takes awhile to work (esp. in men's). Have free grilled hot dogs on Friday night, nightly campfire get togethers with a singer, & free gold panning lessons. Would stay here again. We camped at 49er RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Lost Hills RV Park (formerly Lost Hills Campground), Lost Hills, California

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Price rate reflects Good Sam price. Separate showers from restrooms - Separate shower stalls with no ventilation were on a wall on one side of hallway and restrooms with motion sensor lighting on other (heaven help you if you have to be occupied on toilet and lights go out at night). Pool was closed due to dust storms. Nice easy access to freeways (at an interchange). Good place to stay if passing thru. We camped at Lost Hills RV Park (formerly Lost Hills Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

Coachlight Inn & RV Park, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We did not have Passport America - so rate is higher than other reviews. Located behind a cheap motel (easy registration in hotel) and right off the I-10 freeway. Has level pull-through spots with hookups. Free Wi-Fi at site. Did not use restroom/shower facilities - needed separate key. We were only passing through - so just a place to stay. We camped at Coachlight Inn & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Desert Shadows RV Resort, Phoenix, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park - stayed here on our way through visiting relatives. Close access to freeways, shops, etc. Gravel pull through sites with full hookups. Concrete pad to put by door so you don't drag gravel into your rig. RV part of park is located in center of a mobile home park so you have access to their lobby, pool, laundry, etc. Free Wi-Fi in lobby / library. We camped at Desert Shadows RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Kaweah Park Resort, Three Rivers, California

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Nice location near the bottom entrance to Sequoia National Park with easy walking distance to beach and river. Only giving a 6 on rating due to having rather muddy campsites in morning. They water the grass near sites every early morning, so it was muddy in some spots. Bathroom stalls are small and floor had muddy spots on it. Showers you have to pay for, and needed a deposit for key to gate for pool (returned when you finished). At least the beach/river access was free. Have a website: but it would be nice if you could make your reservations online too. We camped at Kaweah Park Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Anaheim RV Park, Anaheim, California

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice. Sites are concrete pads (either pull-through or back-in) with grass areas around us and picnic tables. Areas clean (shower, bathroom, pool). Love the shuttle service to the Disney Park (ran about every 20-30 minutes at a reasonable rate and drops you off near the gates). Back-in site was big enough for our 26 foot rig and our tow vehicle with our awning out. We camped at Anaheim RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Gold Dust West Carson City RV Park, Carson City, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice asphalt parking with grass, picnic table next to it with some trees. Have both pull through and back in spots. Easy registration but I don't care for walking up to hotel to register for RV when they can have the registration in building next to RV campground. WiFi connection available but it was variable on its speed. Easy access off of freeway. Would stay here again if passing through. We camped at Gold Dust West Carson City RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Mountain Shadows RV Park, Wells, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Nice shaded sites in a desert area. Long pull thrus where you can leave your tow vehicle attached if leaving the next day. Big clean bathrooms and showers. Giving it a 9 due to the fact that the site we pulled into at first had no electricity they did move us to another site. Could also have used a playground area for children. We camped at Mountain Shadows RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
