Tucumcari KOA, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Management was exceptionally friendly and very helpful with additional travel needs and trip planning. The pool was clean, very cool and a refreshing spot in the heat of our travel. Their restaurant had a very good menu and delivered right to our site. Breakfast was fast and hot before we left on our journey: allowing us to not have to unhook to go find a restaurant. We appreciated this KOA on our way although we are not members of KOA. We camped at Tucumcari KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Elk Creek RV Park, Elk City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We like this quiet, shady park. Every time we are traveling through Oklahoma we have made the extra time to make it to Elk Creek RV Park instead of staying in Oklahoma City where it is more noisy. This park has clean restrooms and showers that allow us to get out of the trailer for some leisure time. It has the added value of two storm shelters although we (luckily) have not had to use them. We camped at Elk Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
