Lake of the Springs, Oregon House, California

Date of Stay: April, 2006 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a Thousand Trails membership campground. It is tucked beautifully in the mountains and has a large private lake, stocked with trout and bass. The campsites are large and the park has great security and is very clean. We stayed here for 2 weeks and would not hesitate to return. We camped at Lake of the Springs in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a lovely campground, finely manicured. It is located right off Hwy. 101, but is very quiet. The staff is lovely and helpful. This campground is manicured like a golf course. We only stayed one night, but wouldn't hesitate to stay longer. We camped at Betabel RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Adventure Bound Camping Resort , Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2006 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Very nicely manicured park located about 15 miles from Tucson. Park is fairly remote, but this is a plus and the beauty of the park more than makes up for the driving required to go anywhere. We camped at Adventure Bound Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice "no-frills" park. Good for stopovers, but not for extended stays. Not much to do in Fort Stockton. Campground was clean and staff was excellent. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
