Point Mallard Park, Decatur, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We were so disappointed! They have added several new sites with full hook-ups but the campground continues to deteriorate. Many of the full time campers clutter their sites and neglect their campers. No one monitors the use of the many, many golf carts - some of which are driven by children. "Quiet time" is totally disregarded. Unfortunately, no one seems to police the facility and the rules are a farce! It's become a haven for loud, disrespectful people. SAD because the area offers a great bike trail. We camped at Point Mallard Park in a Motorhome.

Camp Lakewood Campground & RV Park, Effingham, Illinois

Date of Stay: May, 2006 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

The first thing I want to comment on is the restroom and shower facilities. They are spacious and the word "immaculate" does not begin to describe how clean they were. Next, most overnighters are put in large pull-thrus making it unnecessary to unhook . The owner takes you to the spot and offers to help you level if you need help. We will go back in the future. We camped at Camp Lakewood Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
