This campground has the most amazing views and huge, wide spots. It should as it's one of the most expensive campsites that we've ever stayed in at $75/night for partial hookups. The location is great, and the Crystal Cove State Park and beach were really nice. I love how they tiered the campsites so that everyone had an awesome view of the ocean. We watched whales and dolphins swim by each day. The major cons were the price and the weeds. Our campsite was covered in weeds which seems silly for a campsite that costs so much. The park rangers and volunteers were very friendly (minus one gal) and the access to the beach is right there at the campground. Overall it was a good stay and spectacular views.

This was a really nice campground with all the main features you would want. They had a nice pool, some trees, a playground, dog walk, and they were only 15 minutes to Zion National Park entrance. We had hoped for a pull through but they only had a back in spot open for the first night. The back in spot was decent but quite narrow when another trailer would pull in next door. I would really recommend the pull through sites as they had a cement pad, lawn and much more space. Our spot was fairly quiet and the kids liked swimming, playing and riding bikes. The camp also hosted an Easter Egg hunt for the kids and had ice cream on a daily basis. They also do kids bingo and movies or some other activity almost every night. We were within 20 minutes of restaurants and stores and the views from the campground were really nice. Overall it was a really nice place to stay and very friendly staff.

We stayed here with our church group for the annual camping trip. The park was very nice with lots of shade trees and spacious sites. The kids enjoyed the large playground and small hiking trail that went through the back of the campground. Our site had water and electrical and there was a dump site on the premises. The dump got a little busy at checkout time, but there was no pressure to be out immediately. I saw someone cleaning all the campsites right at checkout time to make sure they were in good shape for the new campers. The bathrooms were fairly clean, but had no soap of any kind and sometimes was low on toilet paper. It is very close to town and easy to get to. We saw many people catching fish in the pond and playing on the large grassy area.

This park was very clean and organized. The kids enjoyed the pool and playground a lot. There were a handful of people who live at the park and we happened to be parked near them. We pretty much never saw them and it didn't make much difference. Our biggest complaint would have to be that we were parked up against the main road and the traffic was very noisy. Back in the rest of the park there was almost no street noise. We normally stay in the Pismo area, but this was very close by and a little less expensive. The park was so clean and easy to be in without all the crowds of the Pismo RV parks.

We stayed here in our first trip with our new trailer. It was a great park for the kids with tons of rocks to climb and hiking to do. Our spot was very long and wide so we had plenty of space to stretch out. I noticed that not all of them are that big, so we got lucky. The campground has 3 pools, but only 2 that the kids can go in. The small kiddie pool was the only one warm enough (because of the hot spring) to go into at that time. I know the indoor adult pool was plenty warm. At night the stars are amazing and the frogs are super loud if you walk by them. There are only tents sites near the frogs, so any rv/trailers wouldn't be near the noise. It's pretty cool to hear, though. The bathrooms are fine, fairly clean and kept up. There is a tiny store with most anything you'd need out there located right at the entrance of the campground. It's completely in the middle of nowhere, so don't expect to be in downtown Julian just because that's the address. A nice park for the winter time and very affordable!
