Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging, Groveland, California

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We rated this park on the low end (6) for two reasons, (1) Its VERY commercialized, not rustic and quiet at all. The sites are jammed in there like sardines and its a pretty noisy place. (2) The bathrooms weren't not that nice; the concrete paint on the floors was peeling everywhere and there were no mats on the floor; I slipped a couple times. If you don't mind a crowded RV park, with terrible bathrooms, high prices for the spots, this is your place. We camped at Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging in a Travel Trailer.

Lemon Cove Village RV Park, Lemon Cove, California

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Its a dump! RUN! There were long term people living there and broken down old RV's in several slots. There are no sewer hookups on most spots and you have to dump up by the office when you leave. The lady that answered the phone was rude, no two ways about it. The bathrooms and showers were very dirty with bugs in there everywhere and there was no hand soap and paper towels. They looked like they hadn't been touched in months. We will NOT be staying here again. We camped at Lemon Cove Village RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The Redwoods RV Resort, Crescent City, California

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $34.00

Campground was GORGEOUS! We will definitely be making a reservation for another year. That being said, you MUST make reservations at least a year in advance or you probably won't get a spot, its that nice. Very shady and well covered with redwoods and large ferns. Most sites were pretty private but there are a few that are either too short or too close together. EXTREMELY quiet park, just the way we liked it, and the weather is fabulous. We camped at The Redwoods RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
