This is a very nice, quiet, small park on the east side of Asheville. It's very close easy access to I-40. The manager is SO nice and friendly, helpful also. They keep the lawns mowed, clean park, level sites. We had planned to stay 2 weeks, but extended our stay to almost a month. There is a river running right behind the park, and you can fish in it. We have a large 40 foot 5th wheel with 5 slides, and it was not a problem to fit in our site. We would recommend this park to anyone. Not sure of the nightly rate, we paid a monthly rate, which is less.

We stayed at this resort for 3 months, not sure what the nightly rate is. There are daily activities, lots to do, very close to all the Disney parks. Sites are spacious. There are some ponds on the property you can fish in, but they also have alligators in them. The pool was nice and warm, they keep the lawns mowed.

We were staying in Rapid City, and wanted to be closer to fishing up in the Black Hills, so we drove up to Custer, and looked at all the campgrounds, before picking one to move up to. We found this campground, drove through it, liked the wide spaces and all the pine trees for shade, so we decided to stay. We liked it here so much, we stayed another month, they do have monthly rates. It is so close to all the great fishing and going into Custer for things. The sites are not on top of each other, table and fire pit at each site, bathrooms are cleaned daily, and they are individual bathroom/showers, each a separate room, which was nice. We are planning to come back here someday, and will be staying at this campground again. Gave a 9 rating only because of the dirt roads and site. If everything was paved, I would have given this park a 10.

We stayed here for a month while getting things taken care of for our new domicile state. Since we were not here during tourist season, the park was pretty quiet, and empty except for a few short term people. The owners are the nicest people you want to meet though, greeted you by name. We made good friends with them. The park is terraced, with a nice view of Rapid City below from every site. They were working on the place while we were here, getting ready for tourist season, leveling the sites, painting, really working to make it nice. Not the parks fault, they had a problem with disease in some trees, and had to cut some down before it spread to others. Overall, we liked staying here, and we would stay here again.
