Perfect for an overnight stop to see the petrified Forest national Park and painted desert. Park was quiet, easy to navigate and sites were level. Note-Limited grassy areas for pets.

Views were outstanding, some trees and very little grass for Pets. Good access to Zion National park. Substantial number of tent campers. Staff was professional and very accommodating for our 55 foot truck/trailer rig.

Nice quiet park, excellent facilities, easy to navigate. Staff was professional and committed to helping customers enjoy their stay! Lots of grass and trees. Full service camp/hike/grocery/souvenir/wine/liquor store(fair prices too) onsite. Excellent location to visit Bryce Canyon national Park.

New owners were very helpful about recommendations for area activities. New owners working on many improvements to the park. Views are spectacular. Great location for access to capital reef national Park.

Location perfect for the national parks and town of Moab. Facilities were clean views were great. Highest cost RV park we stayed at during our six National Park tour. Fuel station on site (note diesel/gas was $1/gal higher than in town). Like most parks in this area, the entire park was gravel (i.e. Dust and limited pet locations). Lots of ATVs and motorcycles around but as other reviewer's noted they were hardly noticed. Stayed 3 nights (Arches, Canyonlands, Dead Horse state park)

Park layout was outstanding, immaculate easy to navigate through. The sites were long enough for 55 foot rig. The staff was very professional and accommodating. Easy access to the highway although there was some highway noise. Landscaping was excellent, not all sites have grass but there is grass nearby for pets. Continental breakfast was a nice treat.

Stayed overnight the park was clean, lots of grass for the dogs, quiet, sites were long/level pull throughs, our rig was 55 feet. Management team was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again. Easy access to the freeway. Freeway noise wasn't too bad at all.

We stayed here many weekends while boating at Fayette lake over the summer. The staff was helpful and professional. We were able to store our boat and camper on site at reasonable rates. The grounds were well kept, nicely landscaped, clean pool, large pet friendly areas, safe and very quiet.

The park was full this weekend but hardly any day users so it was quiet. The trails are good, river phenomenal (some kids were playing in it but most folks were not) Temps were 40-70deg and sunny. Verizon signal spotty but txt worked. Our trailer is 35' and arriving at 730pm Friday, there was only one spot left that would fit our trailer, the others were not even close. Park rangers were diligent about keeping campers from getting too loud and rowdy. Blue bonnets were out in full force and the photography opportunities very good by the river as well.

Stayed last weekend in April while visiting Fredericksburg. Not walkable to main street but it is an easy drive. The park is immaculate and nicely landscaped. While there are a lot of sites, the park is very quiet. Sites are mostly level. Wi-Fi excellent, Verizon excellent. Weather was 50s at night and upper 70s daytime.

Raven hill (sewer) section very nice but it took us over 3 sets of lynx blocks to get level. Other sections (no sewer) are more level. This is still one of our all time favorite parks due to the lake, park size, site size, amenities (horseback riding, canoe rental) and hiking trails. Also, firewood was 2 sticks/$1.

Very well maintained park. We stayed on the beach side. I was worried about sand, and salty residue on the trailer but we were far enough away from both. Beach access good, sand was compacted pretty well so walking along the beach was enjoyable. Sites are nice and roomy, staff excellent. My only disappointment was the sand spurs (Sticker burs) that were all over and kept getting in the dog's paws. That has occurred in other area parks this time of year. The park staff said the burs will die off during Nov-Mar.

Clean, nice roomy sites, level sites, nice amenities (nature center, Lodge, scenic drive to the top, hiking). The McDonald Observatory was an excellent evening trip up the mountain--well worth the money and time. The stars were phenomenal since the area is so dark. Highly recommend this destination. Excellent staff. Lots of javelinas roaming the campsites (could have been due to the park being just opened from an extended closure). We only stayed two nights but wish we could have stayed longer. We plan to return. The park was relatively empty the last week of December.

Park is clean, staff great, level sites. Sites were a little close together compared to Davis Mountains state park. The Springs were fun to swim in even in December (the morning air temp was 25deg) and we were able to get in. Our family likes to hike and there wasn't much hiking at the park. We stayed two nights which was perfect. The park was pretty empty beginning 12/26. It is clearly set up for warmer weather with large parking lots by the springs etc. We enjoyed our visit and being relatively close to I-10, it is a good stop off point.
