We really enjoyed this campground although we were a little disappointed that the beach area was no longer usable. The pool is nice but be warned the water is from a spring and VERY COLD even on the hottest day. The daily/weekly sites are in view of the Chickahominy River and are very nice. This park is quite during the week but the weekends can get a little wild. There is a nice Italian restaurant and a bar on the premises. They have built a nice pavilion and bath houses in the club camping area. I would stay here again. In fact, we are considering renting a monthly spot for the season next year.

Small campground with a lot of permanent campers. There is no store at the campground but Food Lion and Walmart are a short distance away. This CG is about 5 miles from the Hiddenite Gem Mine and is only about an hour and 1/2 away from Boone. Statesville is 15 miles away. The owners are very friendly and run a tight ship. Music and noise are kept to a minimum after 10pm. Very nice trails through the woods. There is a nice pool area and playground. They also have a basketball hoop, volleyball, and horseshoes. I would stay here again if I were in the are but I would not make this campground a destination.

This is a very clean, well maintaing CG. The bathhouses were especially nice with homey touches like live plants. There is a really nice dog run. The employees are very friendly and helpful. This CG is very close to all of the attractions in Williamsburg. We would camp here again.
