Green Valley Campground, Vassalboro, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We found this campground by referral of a gas station attendant who called ahead to make sure there was space. That started the wonderful experience. We were greeted by one of the owners who proceeded to check us in. He went above and beyond to make sure that the site we had would suit our needs. He then escorted us to our site and pointed out another site if this wasn't suitable. He advised us that they live here so if there is anything we need, we should contact them and they will do whatever they can to help. We did need milk and since they didn't sell any, the owner offered to go and find some for us. The swimming area was all roped and nice and clean as was the amusement building. I would recommend this site to anyone and would definitely come back. We camped at Green Valley Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This was a fantastic site. The staff was friendly at check in and very helpful. The site we had was an ocean view just steps from the beach. Very beautiful and relaxing. Both beaches were clean. Would go back again in a heartbeat. We camped at Twin Shores Camping Area in a Travel Trailer.

Harding's Point Campground, Harding's Point, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Staff was friendly and helpful. The campground is very picturesque, and we were guided into our site. We were not advised that there was a dance outside the bar until after we checked in and had paid for our site. Our site happened to be beside the bar. It clearly stated there were no refunds for any reason. It would have been helpful to have this information before we drove here as we would have picked a different campground. We were looking for a quiet campground with a normal 11:00 o'clock quiet time and somewhere to sleep not party. The music boomed in the trailer, and had we not been passing through on our way back to Ontario we might have enjoyed it. The dance didn't end until 12:30! We camped at Harding's Point Campground in a Travel Trailer.
