This is a very nice campground, with clean bathhouse. Lots trails nearby. The campsites are wooded and graveled. The campground hosts are very nice and helpful. We camped at Cloudland Canyon State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cheaha State Park, Delta, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice campground with trails close by. The sites are wooded. No lantern posts on graveled campsites. It rained while we were there, and our campsite became slushy, due to poor drainage. No soap dispensers in the bathhouses, so take a bar of soap to wash your hands; there is a paper towel dispenser. No phone service in the campground. The campground opens at 8:00 a.m. We camped at Cheaha State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

The is one of the nicest campgrounds we have camped at. The sites are paved and most are level. The sites include a lantern post, picnic table, and campfire ring. The bathhouse is clean and has soap and towel dispensers, and one large shower. The campground hosts are very nice. This campground has a beach and swimming are, and a trail around the lake. Easy access from Hwy.78 near Fruithurst, Alabama. We camped at Talladaga Nat'l Forest / Coleman Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.
