This is a beautiful campground. It is located right on Lake Huron. Some sites are small, but the campground is wooded and gives you that camping feeling! I would definitely recommend a lakefront site. This would have made all the difference in our trip. The lakefront sites are amazing. The beach is beautiful! It is very shallow, which was nice for the kids because they could go out forever and it would only be up to their chests. There is a playground and 2 bathhouses that were kept very clean. There is no store on site, but the town is within 1 - 2 miles and has a gas station, an IGA, a dollar store, a pizza place and an ice cream shop. We will camp here again next summer if we can get a lakefront site.

This campground is excellent! We have camped here every year for the last three years. The lots are nice sized and most are shaded. The highlight here is the proximity to a Great Lake! You are literally steps away from Lake Huron. This would be my only complaint and it is not even a big deal. Some sites back directly to the beach. If you have one of these sites, then you can take a wooded trail to the beach. Others can take the path that is designated for all campers to access the beach. This beach is just for campers, which is another huge bonus. They have a camp store with a ton of supplies, food, medical, beach gear, souvenirs and ice cream!!! Bathhouses are clean. There are two of them. There are about 6 private shower rooms at each bathouse, so there is hardly a wait for showers AND: there is hot water!! My family loves this campground.

This park is not that great. It is clean, but the sites are mostly sunny. You definitely do not get the "camping" feeling being here. The beach was the biggest disappointment of all. It is basically a grassy area that had a small patch of sand put there. The swimming area is marked off with buoys and it is small. The bathrooms were clean but there was NO HOT WATER AT ALL. Their electrical outlet would not support the amount of electricity that my pop up camper needed to run lights, fans, etc., so it kept overloading. Not the best experience. We left a day early.
