Mill Creek Ranch RV & Cottage Resort, Canton, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Out of all of the RV parks and "Resorts," Mill Creek stands above the rest. These people know how to treat their guests! The experience was good from the initial reservation call, and throughout the 8 days we stayed. We used the Splash Kingdom special, and it worked out well. Much appreciation to the younger members of the staff (you three know who you are!) for their kindness and service during our stay. I cannot say anything bad about this park. Go see for yourself and you will know that a return trip is in your future. We camped at Mill Creek Ranch RV & Cottage Resort in a Travel Trailer.

North Toledo Bend State Park, Zwolle, Louisiana

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park. We came to swim and spend family time. The sites are spacious, shady and level. Has friendly staff, clean restrooms with A/C. Ice is a a buck per bag at the office, and they have a clean laundry. Overall I highly recommend this park. We camped at North Toledo Bend State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Caddo Lake State Park, Karnack, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

After spending the previous weekend at North Toledo Bend SP, this was a letdown. I grew up in a town close to this park so I know it well, but staying here in a travel trailer is a different game. The sites were not level, restrooms were not clean, no place for the children to swim. Not a place to stay during the summer months. We camped at Caddo Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.
