Access to campground is via a steep dirt road. But don't shy away from this one, the views across the French Broad River to the Blue Ridge Mountains is spectacular (I'll bet Vanderbilt wishes he had this view at Biltmore Estate). Campground has lots of wildlife. It is clean and very quiet. The only reason I rated this campground a 9 instead of a 10 was because of the access road (some signs would help to assure the driver that they are on the right path).

This park is a definite 10. Very clean. Each site is well manicured. The facilities are immaculate. Staff are professional and friendly. You can't go wrong here.

Date of Stay:

Park is difficult to find on a narrow residential street. Sites are all gravel and definitely not level. Managers are pleasant and willing to help. Lots of long term campers.

Large park with lots of park models and long term residents. Clean and fairly quiet. Some noise from the airport and AFB. Gravel sites with concrete patio. Not much shade so make sure your A/C is in good working order. Facilities are immaculate and staff are very friendly.

Good overnight RV park. Clean and fairly quiet. Not much activity after the snowbirds leave. Gravel sites with dirt interior roads. Take time to visit their cactus gardens.
