Mountain View RV Ranch, Amado, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park is basically an old run down former KOA. If you like camping in the dirt, you'll be just fine. Some gravel would go a long way here! The park is full of some very old shabby RVs inhabited by some nice, yet edgy, characters. One site was rented to a fellow living in his minivan with an electric cord running out the window. We saw him stroll out to the dessert to relieve himself. You get the picture. Biggest disappointment was the lack of WiFi, although it was advertised as available on their website. Not true! On a positive note, the cable TV selection was excellent, electric power was good and stable, and the water pressure was good. We will never stay here again. We camped at Mountain View RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Canyon Vistas RV Resort (55+ park), Gold Canyon, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We have spent 3 winters at Canyon Vistas over the past 4 years. We love the park, the location and the people. Our nightly rate is based upon a 5 month visit. WiFi is available in the game rooms and ballroom. We purchased cable TV with Internet from Medicom during our 5 month winter visits, so we really don't deal with the WiFi in the park. Many Park Models are being sold here, so eventually the RVs will be squeezed out. We camped at Canyon Vistas RV Resort (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.
