Bay View RV Resort, Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is our 4th year coming here. The pot holes in the roads are bigger than ever. Rules are not enforced. People let their dogs run free, don't pick up after them and permanent sites are very cluttered. No atv allowed but yet one of the workers rides his personal one. Plenty of people riding around on golf carts(workers) but no one seems to be in charge. Make sure there is a picnic table at all sites. Had to ask for one. We camped at Bay View RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Canon City RV Campground, Canon City, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This could be such a lovely RV park but instead it is dump. They have permanent residents that don't pick up after themselves. The RV sites are dirt (no gravel) and when it rains it is mud. If you call the number on the office door sometimes you get an answer, sometimes not. When you do, the person only comes when it is convenient for them. It is very sad because with just a little tlc it could be a great park, as the location is great. Sad that it is so ill kept. We camped at Canon City RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Shady Creek RV Park, Cedaredge, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We first came here 3 years ago to spend two nights and ended up spending 2 weeks. This is a very friendly park. The owners do all they possibly can to help you get to know the other people in the camp grounds. They have two permanent residents and the young girl that is in the trailer next to us is kind of shy, but very friendly when you speak to her. The owners do whatever they can to make your stay more welcoming. We have spent the last three years at this park, for a month at a time. Wish we could spend more time but our life style doesn't permit this. The negative review that was given is very inaccurate. They did not obey the rules and did not respect the other campers so they were asked to leave. The other campers in this campground were glad to see them leave. These two owners are very warm and friendly and their sites are very shaded, clean and private. We have a little dog and she is welcome at the park. Yes, if it is possible we will be back again next year. We camped at Shady Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
