Townsite Campground (Parks Canada), Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Waterton Lakes Townsite campground set in a beautiful location. Well kept grounds, with clean amenities. "A" campground was quite noisy due to local traffic. Advise when booking to reserve a spot in "B" campground; more treed area and less noisy. Campground did not allow individual fire pits, nor communal ones either ( dissappointing!!!) We camped at Townsite Campground (Parks Canada) in a Fifth Wheel.

Lions Campground, Red Deer, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Lions park was well laid out, well kept grounds, and clean amenities. They do not take bookings so you need to get there early to get a site!! First come first served!!. We arrived at 4PM by which time park was full and were selling the overflow area which was fine for an overnight stay. We camped at Lions Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
