Lake Louise Trailer Campground - Electric Hookups (Parks Canada), Banff National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Stay was great, had a nice comfortable site with electric hook-up. Campground has one major issue: it is close, very close to the railroad. Trains almost run directly behind your car. If that doesn't make enough noise, the driver believes it is necessary to use the horn 5 times short and long while passing the campground. Not an ideal place for those who sleep light. We camped at Lake Louise Trailer Campground - Electric Hookups (Parks Canada) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

In high season it is not a bad idea to make a reservation since there are only 2 campgrounds around Lake Louise and it is a very popular place.

Flagstaff KOA, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

All in all very well, except that site 139 (our site) gets water from site 140, meaning the hose is placed behind the car to the neighbours which is not convenient. Everything else is great, very friendly people always wishing to help when needed. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Motorhome.

Holbrook / Petrified Forest KOA, Holbrook, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We parked here 4 nights and wished it could have been more. The park is clean and well kept. All you can eat pancake breakfast ($1,99) is served every morning and in the evening a cowboy cook-out with a fantastic steak. Internet access works great, sites are large and partly shady. Park is located close to famous Route 66, Painted Desert and Petrified Forest. Next time in Arizona we will sure come again. We camped at Holbrook / Petrified Forest KOA in a Motorhome.
