Very beautiful lake. However, to be a state Park you would think they would spend some money & make it more modern& user friendly We camped at Tygart Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Do not camp here with anything other than a popup or tent. Campsites are all grass/mud& no way to back a travel trailer in & level it up. Your neighbors are right on top of you. If it rains, pray you can get out of here. 4 wheel drive is definately a neccessity!!!!!! They have to pump in sunshine to this camground. The bathrooms were frightening. We left a day early. Absolutely worse experience camping I have ever had & we drove 3 hours to camp here

Kincaid Lake State Park, Falmouth, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very beautiful and clean pool. However, the sites are very crowded. We camped right beside the playground: MISTAKE!!! It was not too bad mid-week but on Friday night & Saturday everything was packed, bathrooms, etc., kids for days. Does not appear to be restrictions on the number of people camping at a site. We enjoyed our stay, but will not go back. We camped at Kincaid Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Beech Fork State Park, Barboursville, West Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. Pool is nice. We camped on the lake in Moxleys branch. Campground is not too cramped. The only negative thing about Beech Fork is all the golf carts. They are dangerous and a nuisance. We camped at Beech Fork State Park in a Travel Trailer.
