Onapa RV Park and Campground, Checotah, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

The staff was friendly. Our campsite was level with full hook ups. The area around our site was full of holes, making walking in the dark dangerous. The advertised "restrooms" smelled of sewage, had no toilet paper or paper towel and had a swarm of live hornets inside. The toilets did not flush. Walking to the restroom, we passed barking dogs tied to shabby trailers with dog excrement along the campground road. The campground was not well maintained. We camped at Onapa RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Wall Doxey State Park, Holly Springs, Mississippi

Great older state park. Ranger Jeff Davis was consistently helpful and friendly. We walked around the lake on a well maintained trail, completely shaded. The restrooms are older, but clean and well maintained. The campsites are level and neat. Host in the office was pleasant and friendly. Great park! We camped at Wall Doxey State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Our pull through, premium site was excellent with a view of the campground and high plains through the trees. Entire campground was very well maintained and the staff was responsive to our smallest needs. Everyone who works at the resort is friendly, courteous, and hard working. It's a pet friendly resort. People cleaned up after their pets and there were no barking dogs. We would stay there again. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
