Stone Mountain Park Campground, Stone Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $63.00
Overall Rating:

This is a real nice park! Beautiful trees surrounding most sites. Premium sites with decks and gas grills were more open around the pool area. Quiet surroundings, convenient shuttle to attractions on night that the Laser Light show is on (weekends). CG host I talked with was nice and informative. We will go back here again! We camped at Stone Mountain Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Raccoon Holler Campground, Glendale Springs, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Our first trip here this weekend was great. Beautiful campground, clean, quiet and friendly neighbors. The campground is populated mostly with seasonal campers. Everyone we met was extremely friendly, and loved our dogs! Rate was $28/ night + $2/ night for AC use. I felt the rate was reasonable for the park. We will definitely camp here again. If I was in the market to set up in as a seasonal camper, Racoon Hollar would be at the top of my list. We camped at Raccoon Holler Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Yates Family Camping, Harrisburg, North Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for a month while starting a new job in the area. Great location to CMS, Concord Mills shopping and many restaurants. This is a basic park, but well kept, neat, clean well run facility. Owner is on site and will do most anything to help you out. I will stay with them any time I'm back in the area. Paid a monthly rate with metered electric service. Excellent value! We camped at Yates Family Camping in a Travel Trailer.

Charlotte Motor Speedway Campground, Concord, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

It's a big, gravel parking lot - nothing more! Great for the races, and Concord Mills shopping area, but not a place for lounging around the campsite. Don't know the rates, as we stayed there free after picking up our new travel trailer from the dealership. We camped at Charlotte Motor Speedway Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Adventure Village, Brevard, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Great location as a base for hiking and exploring Waterfall country. The park itself is well kept, but could use a little work. There is some traffic noisemakers but not unbearable. The bathrooms and showers were basic, nothing fancy, but could use some better ventilation to get the moisture out. The main problem I had was the geese around the pond. You had to watch your steps! The park is currently for sale, We camped at Adventure Village in a Truck Camper.
