Catawba Falls Campground, Old Fort, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Small campground, very quiet, backed up to creek. Owners very nice. Only drawback was no cable and could not get satellite signal. WiFi was good. We would camp here again. We camped at Catawba Falls Campground in a Motorhome.

Tuckasegee RV Resort, Whittier, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean park. We were greeted when we arrived and shown our site before trying to back in. Staff was fantastic. River was right behind us with steps leading down to the shore. The only downside was iffy WiFi. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Tuckasegee RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Cullasaja River RV Park, Franklin, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 4 days and enjoyed this park. It is mostly older retired people from Florida, staying for the summer, but they were very nice and welcomed us to all activities. Would not recommend for young family other than to stop overnight. We would stay here again. We camped at Cullasaja River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very clean and well maintained. No pool, but swimming hole in creek was very refreshing. Shaded sites on creek bank were very nice. Close to various attractions. Would stay here again. We camped at Buck Creek Campground (formerly Buck Creek Campground and Driving Rang in a Motorhome.

Heritage Campground, Carthage, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Have camped here many times, but last time took 3 grandchildren under the age of 8. Charged $5. per child per night. Owner was very rude to us. Advertised Wi-Fi but was unable to get it at our site. It is a nice campground if you like wooded, natural lots. The showers were awful. With no extras this campground is not worth $45.00 a night. We will not camp there again. We camped at Heritage Campground in a Motorhome.

RVacation RV Park, Selma, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This park good for overnight stay, but be careful of what you are charged for. We were overcharged because we asked for 30 amp and were put in 50/30 amp site. I was not told upfront of the higher charge. When I went to office for refund woman who checked me in had no idea what to do. Phone calls were made, refund promised but she didn't know how. Office management was sick so she promised to call me on Monday with refund details. It is Tuesday night and I have not received a call. We camped at RVacation RV Park in a Motorhome.
