Wonderland RV Park, Torrey, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

What beautiful views in this well-maintained park! We were in a pull-thru space, looking out over a pasture with beautiful mountains beyond. It is the closest RV park to Capital Reef if you need hookups. My first criterion for a comfortable stay is space between RV's. This park has a wide grassy area between spaces, with a couple of trees. The spaces are at angles so that we are not all aligned next to each other. I was worried about the highway noise because I'm a light sleeper but it was very quiet at night.

The WiFi worked great, and we stayed 7 nights, so got 1 night free.

The manager was so helpful. We had problems with the slide and jacks and he contacted someone to help us. We will be back in the Fall. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Escondido RV Resort, Escondido, California

Date of Stay: October, 2013
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in Oct. 2013 and had a noise problem with our neighbor that kept us up all night. We mentioned it in the park survey when we left. The manager called us, apologized, took care of the neighbor and then offered us a free stay to make up for it. It wasn't even the park's fault. They truly care about their guests. They try to make sure everyone has a pleasant experience. Their staff is so helpful. This park is very convenient for us to visit family in Poway, so we will stay here every time. We camped at Escondido RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Winter Island Park Campground, Salem, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in Space 12 for 6 nights in a motorhome. This space was on the end so our side windows and front windows had full views of the bay, just feet from the water. I don’t think I would have loved this park if we didn’t have this spot. It’s a funky campground and just an asphalt site but you can’t beat waterfront camping. The location is very convenient to Salem attractions and an easy, inexpensive train ride to Boston. The Salem Trolley picks up in the parking lot, but we would skip the Trolley. It was a waste of time to wait for it for the hop on – easier to see the city on our own. The National Park Service Visitor Center is the best place to learn about the history, as always. Lowell National Historic Site is only 34 miles away and well worth a side trip. We camped at Winter Island Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Country Bumpkins Campground and Cottages, Lincoln, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We have the perfect campsite – T20 - looking straight out our front window is the river and a brook to the side. There is a cute little pond with ducks behind us. We have a 30 foot motorhome with toad that fit easily in this space. The location for Franconia Notch and the Kanc Hwy is very convenient. The Fall colors are already outstanding and the scenery and hiking couldn’t be better. I thought we would have trouble reserving end of September, but this park and all the others are mostly empty. We camped at Country Bumpkins Campground and Cottages in a Motorhome.
