Reserved this for a 5 day stay for our anniversary. What a total disappointment! We stayed in site 5. The site was listed as a pull-through. It was a pull through, but it was totally backwards, as were many of the other pull through sites. The door faced the road while the picnic table and fire ring were on the back side. The mosquitos were very bad and spray only helped a little. The fire wood was cheap and self serve which is a plus. Wisconsin has many nice state parks. This is not one of them. We will not come back to this one.

Enjoyed going to the dog friendly Lake Michigan Beach with our Lab. Very nice during the hot summer days. Office staff was helpful. Would definitely come again during the hot summer months. Sites well spaced. New vault toilet buildings and newer shower building very nice.

One of the newest Wisconsin state parks. As a newer park, some of the sites are not well screened. Our first site (129) had only one tree and a few small bushes. The firepit was oddly placed at the back and toward the driver's side. The view was of the bathroom building's septic field. For out last day, we were lucky to move to a much nicer site on the other side of the campground. There is a trolley that runs on the weekend, a quiet lake, the wonderful Lake Michigan beach and a dog friendly stretch of beach. Overall a nice park. We will definitely visit again but make sure to choose a different site.

Beautiful state park in Door County, close to shops and restaurants. Very busy during the summer and fall. There are many miles of trails for hiking and biking. Have enjoyed every one of our visits but the quiet off season times are the best for enjoying the park.
