Shenango Valley RV Park, Transfer, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We have never stayed in a nicer, cleaner and friendly place. They really take care of the grounds. There is a lot for children to do. There is also bingo and other activities for the adults. We made reservations on our way out to return. It is such a nice place. The owners are very friendly, helpful and will help you if needed with anything. We camped at Shenango Valley RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stony Fork Creek Campground, Wellsboro, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The owners were very nice and willing to answer any questions. The park was very well manicured and our site (78) was very nice. The bath house was very clean. We will definitely be staying here again. The only con I have, is with most campgrounds. There should be a dog area so those of us that do not have dogs, do not have to deal with the barking or the "mess" of those that do not clean up behind their dogs. We are not dog haters, we do however think they are quite annoying when they constantly bark. We camped at Stony Fork Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Presque Isle Passage, Fairview, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This campground has changed names to Presque Isle Passage. It has new owners. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. They have a great selection of goods in the general store. We stayed 3 nights. There is very little shade. We lucked out and got one of the better sites. We did walk around and seen there were quite a few sites we would not want to stay on. They would require a lot of blocks! The rest rooms were the cleanest we have ever seen in a camp site! We did not like the "timer" on the showers. We would stay again if we could get the same site we had gotten! We camped at Presque Isle Passage in a Travel Trailer.

Cook Forest State Park, Cooksburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We camp here every year at least 3 times. We love it here. It is nicely shaded. They are all very nice at the office. We love the fact they have a dog area away from those of us that do not have dogs. I do wish that other campers would take a bag with them to retrieve their animals "droppings" when they walk them. The bathrooms do need some attention, but it truly is a wonderful park. We camped at Cook Forest State Park in a Travel Trailer.
