Just stayed for 3 days over fall break in a 26 Ft travel trailer. VERY few spots can handle a trailer. It is not because of the length of the spot, but because too narrow to make the turn off the road. First site we had booked did not work and was moved to a non reserved spot. The campground is maintained by wonderful hosts who do a great job and have been there several years. Half the sites are closed because of boulders, but expected to reopen. The location is beautiful but sadly the campground is split in half by highway 87a running thru with non stop traffic. Because of that, rated it only 3 stars and will not plan a return. If you want a spot that is right off the road for a quick over night, good spot and impressive rock scenery.

This is one of the best state parks we have stayed. Sites are not on the water and a couple miles from the "rock" but in walking distance to marina and small beach. Nice golf course is adjacent to the campground. Walking distance to a great little restaurant Bayside. First come first serve to reserved RV sites, but all were about the same. Clean, very friendly staff. Museum also in walking distance and town is a bike ride away. Will definitely come back since there is water/electric for the RV sites and dump station also on site.

Nice state campground off Bass Lake. Walking distance to lake from sites and nearby Forks store and restaurant. Clean site and flush toilets. No showers. Only downside is there are limited water faucets accessible and no hookups. Stayed in sites 20 and 21 and were great for 2 families and secluded. Would stay here again. Cell phone reception was pretty decent.

Beautiful campground. No hook ups. Nicely spaced sites and open meadows. Attentive staff. Site 78 and others like that are pull through, so great if you can book. Best sites are those closest to lake. Lake is not visible, but a short walk. Camp Richardson and Pope Beach are 2 miles away.

Wonderful campground in Big Sur. The staff is super friendly, facility, bathrooms and showers are spotless. Stayed here off season, so plenty of space. Could get crowded if fully booked. River sites are the best, #100, 99, 13 are top RV sites. We checked out other campgrounds and this is the best in the area if you would like partial hookups. Showers free and warm water (drafty room) and laundry too. Nice playset for the kids. Easy walk to River Inn where there is local pub, restaurant, ice cream and local market. Highly recommend if looking for Big Sur camping.

Secluded, quiet, beautiful campground. Can't see the ocean except for two sites, but just a 2 minute walk to an amazing view and sunsets. Ranger is very relaxed. No hookups, or dump. Both Sunset and Manresa Beach are nearby and beautiful. Aptos, Santa Cruz, Seascape and Monterey all within a 30-45 minute drive.

We stayed here for a short weekend during the end of July so it was quite hot. The campground itself is great with a really cool water park, kids play structure, clean bathrooms, pool and arcade. Our site itself was not as ideal as it was an RV row with little shade. I would return again, but would make sure to choose a different site on one of the side areas of the facility for a little more privacy. Thing to note- most sites did not have a fire pit, which was not mentioned online.

Scotts Flat is part of the local irrigation district and a cross between a private campground and a National Park campground. There are no hookups available, but clean showers and a dump station. Too book sites, you have to call the reservation number, which may take a few days for a return phone call. The place is very clean, dogs are allowed, but not in the water and the lake is beautiful. Lots of trees for shade and some privacy. The sites 1-9 down by the lake get crowded and people tend to pack them full or you can stay a short walk away and not quite as busy, but more sites per bathroom. Pretty small beach area, but easy to launch your boat. Great local restaurant right at turn off for casual dining.
