Very poor direction signs to this campground as it is not clear where this new RV part of the resort is. One of the Casino Staff kindly escorted us to the RV Park. Plenty of room on pull-through sites and enough room to keep our truck 'hitched'. Wi-Fi good at first but then patchy as the campground became busy. Convenient location for the Casino with free shuttle bus. Good value for money and would definitely stay here again for an overnight stay.

Efficient check-in and pleasant staff. Very tidy and well maintained campground in a pleasant rural location but not far from the shops and center of Kelso. All pull-through spaces with plenty of room. Services all good, Wi-Fi excellent and cable TV. We previously used this campground in 2006 to visit friends and would definitely come again if in this area.

This is a typical KOA campground - well used, a bit run down and in need of some TLC, 30amp electric a little shaky, water a little trickle at busy times. Having said that, it is in a good location for visiting Olympia NP, Port Angeles and Sequim and there are not many campgrounds in this area to choose from. Strange system of a 2hr ticket for Wi-Fi! Can understand that some sort of control needs to be in place on a large campground for busy times. We were given a few tickets at a time and the Wi-Fi worked well. Good cable TV. Would use again if in the area.

We agree on many other reviewers’ findings. This park is not good value: $43 for ‘premium’ pull-through sites which are far from premium compared with spacious, modern parks. It probably does well because of its location and lack of competition. It’s the only usable one in the vicinity when we visit friends. It’s fairly attractive, however, with mature trees, shrubs and some grass strips which are too small and sloping to be useful. If you have a small/medium outfit you’ll have few problems. Larger rigs (we have a 38’ fifth wheel, extended cab dually) or large Class A motorhomes (40') could be tricky to get in and out of the narrow sites because the streets are very narrow. Turns are tight with high curbs and marker poles near exits adding to the difficulties. Services may be in the wrong place after you’re parked. With our trailer at the front of the site, truck parked at the rear (the only practical configuration for us), I had to use three sewer hoses, resulting in poor drainage to the sewer connection at the rear of the site. Campground is typical of many older ones which would have been great when RVs were much shorter and narrower but the site layout now feels old-fashioned and the park looks and feels cramped and claustrophobic. Good Wi-Fi near the office but trees may dramatically reduce signal strength. The cable TV line-up is very poor indeed. The usual antenna channels plus local, Spanish-language and shopping. There are many rules which although not onerous, often seem very trivial. They may be aimed more at the many semi-permanent ‘residents.'

We had read some recent uncomplimentary reviews but the campground looked satisfactory for our needs. It is close to popular beaches and the Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Center. Our reservation was accepted without requiring a deposit and we found the owner friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The campground was not busy and we were allowed to pick our own pull-through site, always a nice touch. Our questions about sightseeing were willingly answered along with additional information and photos to view of the areas we wanted to visit. The park has some mature trees but sites are not overshadowed. The campground is being remodeled and landscaped and there are new electric pedestals, water faucets and sewer connections throughout the park. Sites nearest the office are long, wide back-ins with level gravel. Pull-though sites are further down the access road and of varying length, mostly grass with a few on new gravel. There are several shorter back-ins with grass and picnic tables to the rear. The privately-owned adjoining properties are unattractive but the campground owner has planted shrubs to screen views of them. Wi-Fi Internet was very good but may be less so at sites distant from the office. Food, hardware and clothing shopping is available directly across the road and there are gas/diesel pumps in town along with restaurants, bars, and gift shops. We would use this campground again.

We paid $28 per night for the weekly rate. Very friendly and tidy campground at the side of the Glen Ayr Motel. Pull through sites level with plenty of space for our 37 foot rig. Excellent services, including Wi-Fi and cable TV. Beautiful location on the Hood Canal in a quiet location. Small town of Hoodsport is 1 mile away with an IGA grocery store. Nearest Wal-Mart and larger shops at Shelton, about 13 miles away. If you want peace, quiet and relaxation, this is it.

This campground was called "Snug Harbor". Very friendly and helpful owner. Only 1 pull thru site and this was very tricky for a large rig. Good for smaller units, boating, fishing and weekenders. Small grocery and snack bar (very clean). No TV,Wi-Fi or cell phone service. Nice view of lake at Site 11 (lots of trees) - can be a windy location. Come with a full tank of diesel as no diesel nearby. Restrooms/showers were clean, but the floors needed a good scrub.

Pleasant campground in a good location near the Creek Trail (cycle or walk) and also close to shops (walking distance). Wi-Fi variable (range very good to poor near trees). TV had 3 reasonable national channels. 30amp electric OK. We had a back-in site with plenty of space for a 37 foot trailer and vehicle. Laundry good, although only 2 machines and dryers. Would stay here again.

Well maintained campground in a nice rural location. A short drive to the Town and shopping. We had a back-in site with a lovely view of the mountains to the back and plenty of space for trailer (37 feet) and vehicle. Wi-Fi generally OK but a bit slow and patchy at times. TV service good. Staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed here 2 years ago and visited Glacier NP, which is about 1 hour's drive away. Would definitely stay here again.

Passport America and Good Sam Rates apply. Very friendly small and tidy campground. Lots of space on the pull through sites. Wi-Fi very good and other services good too. TV 3/4 digital channels. No Verizon phone service here. Not many amenities in town, but a very pleasant place to stay. Good for an overnight stop and would use this campground again.

Wow! What a great campground and this certainly 'raises the bar' for how campgrounds should be. Plenty of space (largest sites we have ever seen) and should be more than adequate for the largest of rigs. Everything is exceptionally neat and tidy and well maintained. If you golf, then this is paradise with the green right next to the RV sites. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Beautiful facilities including pool, spa, clubroom and laundry. Wi-Fi excellent. Nice location for shopping in Deer Park (10 minutes) and for visiting Spokane (about 20 miles). Thoroughly recommend this campground and would definitely stay here again.

Well maintained and tidy campground. Electric, water and TV post in a strange position at the front of the site, so only just managed to connect electric without an extension. Pad and gravel sites good and quite level. Staff helpful. Wi-Fi initially good, but then went off completely. Office was aware and it looked like a problem with the server. Location not far from Prosser, but we didn't find the grocery store. Very close to fast food, restaurant and gas station and easy on/off I-82. Would use again for an overnight stop. Many wine tasting trips very close by if you like that sort of thing.

Immaculate and well maintained campground. Pleasant and helpful staff. Plenty of room for our trailer and services good. Spotless restroom and pay showers. TV limited to about 3 channels and Wi-Fi is variable - good at times, slow at others. Nice location near the river with access to lovely walking/cycling trails. Close to town for shopping. Originally booked for 4 nights but stayed an extra week as we were visiting friends in the area. Would definitely recommend and would use again. About a 2hr drive to Banff/Lake Louise. Laundry good.

Fantastic campground! Lovely views and very helpful and pleasant staff. Helped us park so we could make the most of the magnificent views. Plenty of space on grassed sites. Good 30amp electric and water. Sewer dump station on site. Wi-Fi in office area only, but very good overall. 2 local channels on TV. Nice location for visiting Waterton Lakes NP. Would definitely recommend this campground if you like peace and quiet away from everything. Nearest shopping is Cardston about 45 mins away. We did not stay over the weekend, but they do have barn dances and meals at weekends, which we heard were excellent. Would stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Check-in procedure very slow (as we experienced here on our last visit) and staff were not very helpful and we had to ask for everything. Enough space on pull-throughs. Water pressure very low at times. We had a problem with loud music, which we reported. It was very windy so we couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from. Staff said they would look into it and miraculously it stopped! This campground is very expensive and doesn't give value for money. Having said that, it is wonderful for families. No TV service and Wi-Fi is patchy and slow. Location is excellent for visiting Glacier NP.
