Electric 50/30/20 is good. Sewer good and at ground level, Water is ok @ 42psi. Wi-Fi Didn't use it but it is not real strong. AT&T Cell Phone good 3bars. AT&T Air 4G Air Card poor. Verizon 4G LTE Air Card very good. Cable but needs a box for the inside to the TV. Site is dirt with a small amount of shale mixed in. Site Size pretty level, good width and length. You can park both truck and trailer on most sites. Some Sites are close while others have a bit more room. Some grass between sites and some trees. Interior roads are dirt with a little shale mix in. CR261 was a dirt and gravel road but the county has come in and put rock and asphalt down but didn't smooth it out. It is wide enough for one lane but if someone is coming toward you both will have to make room, especially if you're in the RV. Restrooms and showers are nice and they look clean. I did not use them. Laundry looks good. 2 washers & 2 dryers. Cost is $1.50 each. Only a few long term tenants, but sites are well kept. DirecTV Satellite is capable in some spots especially if you have the satellite on a ground tripod. Passport America discounts Largest is a pull through at $27. Owner works during the day so pick up a map and form then you pull in and find a site then go to the sign board and pay in the box on the wall. Owner will likely come by and ask you if you want a cable box. This park has a woodsy atmosphere. Quite at night. it rained hard here and the rain ran off the campground quickly. They have an interesting drainage method. Ditches bordered by stones and vegetation and flowers growing along or over the ditched which lead to pipes underground or other ditches to move the water away. If I were in the area and there was room I would stay here again.

Electric is 4 30a outlets per power pole two in each box. Two sites use same power pole pulling through in opposite directions. Water pressure is 60+ psi, no sewer on sites. No WiFi. AT&T & Verizon 4G LTE Air Card service is useable but poor. AT&T Cell phone 4 out of 5 bars. No Cable. Sites are on grass field with plenty of room between door side sites. Satellite is easy in open areas. No long term tenants. Payment with Credit Card ok. The sites are pretty run down. A power pedestal was knocked down and some have bad leaking water making the site unusable. Office is not manned on weekends. You have to go to the big Equestrian office building off to one side behind the small office. If you like being around horses the Equestrian Park is great to see the horses and some of the riders. I would stay here again but would be cautious of picking a site.

Electric 50/30/20 is good. Water pressure at 60psi sustains 40psi and low to the ground. Sewer is good. Services are located middle ways to the site. AT&T Cell phone is strong. Verizon 4GLTE Data signal is stronger than AT&T. Cable is good. Was grainy to begin with but is better. Owner is looking for a better service. Sites are mainly concrete and some on one side are gravel. Concrete sites have grass between them and enough room for slides and an awning. There are long term Tenants due to the construction of a refinery in Lake Charles. Satellite TV is easily accessible. Roads a asphalt or oiled gravel and other parts are all gravel. There are two laundries. One by the office and one near the back of the park.

Electric is good, but close to the ground. Water is 40psi but sustains about 30psi. Didn't use WiFi. Cellphone service is very good as well as data for Verizon and AT&T. Big cell tower beside park. Cable is viewable but grainy, 28 channels. Sites are in two areas. Front area is for smaller RVs and mainly back in. Back area is back in and pull thru. Sites are long enough to park Trailer and TV on site. Sites are spaced wide with grass and about 20ft to put out awning with no problem. Roads and sites are older asphalt. Road is bumpy but useable. Laundry is nice. Wash is $1.25 Dry $1.00 both run for 45 minutes. Restrooms are single user and very nice and clean. There are long term tenants most are well kept. DirecTV is easily accessible. Payment by credit card, cash or check. 50% discount for Passport America and Escapees. You can hear the highway traffic when outside but inside it is quite. Work campers in office were very nice. Nice pond on the back area. Canoes and a paddle boat area available if you want to use them. I would stay here again when in the area.

Electric 50/30/20 is good. Sewer at each site is good. Water has good pressure. WiFi is good but not steady. Air card for both AT&T and Verizon 4G is not good. Campground many times is much better. AT&T cell service shows only 1 bar. Cable cost $20/mo so I didn't use it. Don't know what it would cost for a day or week. Sites are good, all back-in some longer and easier to get into. A large RV would need to be causes of the trees. Interior road is all concrete. Not much on restrooms. They are in a cabin. Laundry is in the office building in the back. Satellite is easy to get in most but not all sites. Payment can be with credit card, cash or check. Three long time tenants and their sites are very messy. I had to leave this park after 12 days of a month rental due to the tall grass and pollinating Oaks causing extreme irritation to my small dog. A good point is that they refunded half of my monthly rent. I have stayed at this campground twice before and it was very good, however this time I was told by the office that it is under repossession by two banks. Those that work in the office were told by the banks that they were not to go onto the property, therefore the grass, weeds and leaves all over the park were terrible. I normally come to this area every year for a month or two, however next year I would have to see the park before I made a reservation.

Date of Stay:

Electric is good but at the rear of the sites. Some sites only have 30a and others have 50/30/20A, Water pressure is 40psi sustained to about 30psi, Sewer is good but is in the back of the site. Cable TV is good, however in my site local channels are in the lower channel numbers and are fuzzy, but were corrected by the owners. Verizon Air Card is better than the AT&T for your computer. WiFi is available but weak in the outer areas. AT&T Cell phone is good. Sites vary, some are concrete and some are gravel. I was in a gravel site and it's Length and width is good for the trailer and is level. Plenty of room between sites with grass so you can put out an awning with no problem. Had to park the Pickup crosswise or in another site if available. Interior roads are gravel. Laundary is good but the washers have a bit of rust starting on them but work well. Price for the washer is $1 and dryer is $1.25. Most of the tenants are monthly for the winter. Only a couple sites have fulltime tenants. Many of the sites have trailers stored here. No discounts for Monthly tenants. Payment can be made with credit card. Didn't use the restrooms but many here do. Owners are great. If I were in this area again I would stay here again.

Electric & Sewer good, Water @ 40psi. Didn't use Wi-Fi. AT&T Cell Phone good, AT&T Air 4G Card poor, Verizon 4G LTE Air Card good but not great. Cable good and clear with many channels. Sites are gravel and fairly level. The campground is mildly sloped causing need to level more from side to side. Sites are wide and the pull thru's are very long with plenty of room between sites with some grass. Interior road is asphalt and in good condition. Restrooms & Laundry are good and clean. There are some long term tenants but the area is clean and neat. DirecTV Satellite is accessible but may be a problem in some sites due to trees. They accept numerous discounts ask for your best one. Not a Passport America campground. Payment by credit card is accepted. This is a nice campground. I have been to all three campgrounds in Cortez and this one is by far the better one. I would stay here if in the area again. Also the restaurant next door looks run down but it has a very good breakfast. The sausage patty is bigger than the palm of your hand.

Electric & Sewer good, Water @ 110 psi sustains 70psi. Did not use the Wi-Fi. AT&T Cell phone signal is good. Verizon Air Card is very poor but AT&T works great. No Cable. Sites are compact gravel and are close to level both ways. The sites are narrow and barely long enough to park the tow vehicle on the sideways. Getting in and out of the sites can be a problem with long RV's. This park is large and compact. As mentioned previously the sites are nose to tail side by side using the same pedestal services for both. This places the RV's close together. Internal roads are asphalt and in good shape. Did not use restrooms, showers or laundry. Satellite access is possible in the site I stayed in and could be a problem in some sites. There are long time tenants and park model housing in the park. Discount for GS is available. I would rather stay some other place if one is available.

Date of Stay:

Electric & Sewer good, Water @ 45psi, Didn't use the WiFi. AT&T Cell Phone signal was good. AT&T Air Card good signal. Cable is good. Sites are wide and level with compacted gravel. Could be longer if you wanted to stay connected. Plenty of room between sites with grass in between. Roads asphalt and gravel. Restrooms are great. They have the toilet, sink and shower in one room and there were at least 3 rooms. Didn't use the laundry but it is up front under the main building which is a small store, Grill and service station with gas and diesel. Satellite is easy to access. GS discount & paid with a credit card. I really like this place. It is not a destination or Resort but it has a lot of grass to walk your dog. The roads are wide and smooth. The sites are level and wide. What not to like. I would definitely stay here when passing through.

Shore Services 50/30amp, Sewer good, Water @ 50psi, Didn't use WiFi. It is Tengo and I have had problems with it in the past. AT&T Cell Phone was good, Verizon 4G LTE Air Card is good. Cable is good. Sites are gravel, Site that I stayed in is narrow. Others were somewhat wider. About 3ft strip of grass between sites with a concrete patio area that is covered partly by the slide. Sites are close so you feel packed in, but there is enough room between sites for slides and you can walk around the trailer. Internal roads are very good asphalt. Didn't use Restrooms, Shower or Laundry. There are many long term tenants. Most are clean and uncluttered. Directv Satellite access is good. Only Good Sam discount. Payment with credit card is accepted. There is a very good dog area. A dog run of gravel is also in the far back area. This is a nice park but I felt packed in. It would be better if there was more space between sites. I would stay here again if in the area.

Shore Services electric is good in the newer sections. There are some that are fused and I had a problem early in the morning and was with out power until the office opened, Sewer good, Water @ 70psi. I didn't use the Wi-Fi but used Verizon air card which worked very well. AT&T Cell phone has good signal strength. Cable is fuzzy on some channels and could be better. Sites are good with plenty of room between them. If you have a Very large RV you will find a number of pull thru sites that will accommodate you. I didn't use restrooms, showers or laundry. There are Long term tenants but they are in a separate section and kept quite nice. Payment with credit card is accepted. The owner is very nice and offered me an additional night free or my money back when the power went out. I stayed the weekend and was very pleased with the different site that I was given. Also, if you like a great chicken fried steak ask the office about Eddy's Truck stop Café on Hwy 20. I would definitely stay here when in the area again.

Date of Stay:

Shore Services are good, 50/30amp, Sewer good, Water @ 40psi. Wi-Fi is available but I didn't use it. AT&T Cell Phone is good, AT&T Air Card is good, Verizon 4G LTE Air Card is good, Some sites have Cable. Back in sites are for those staying more than a couple of days, Pull thru sites are for overnight. Plenty of room between sites with grass in between. Roads are good asphalt. Didn't use restroom, showers or laundry. Satellite access is easy. Payment is good with credit card. As mentioned previously not alcohol is to be consumed here. Reservation rules. I liked this campground and the town. If you have time drive around and find all of the 75 or so murals on the buildings. There is a small horse drawn wagon tour for the murals around the downtown area which is nice. I would stay here again in the future.

Date of Stay:

Shore Service are good, 50amp only in my site, Sewer good, Water @ 40psi, Wi-Fi was good, Cable is good. Site are all back in. Power pedestal is all the way in front. You will need an extension. If you don't have one they will loan you one or sell you one. Sites are separated by shrubbery long enough for long RV's like toy haulers, but you can't park in front of the trailer. You can park beside if you keep the trailer close to the shrubbery. Interior roads are good asphalt. Restrooms are very good. Laundry is good. You can add additional time with the dryers if you don't let them stop. I was able to acquire DirecTV Satellite from in front of the trailer. Payment is good with US Credit Card. This is a nice park. I would stay here again when in the area.

Date of Stay:

Shore Services: 50/30amp, Sewer good, Water @ 40psi, WiFi was very good, No Cable, was able to access DirecTV Satellite. Sites are very good and level. Site Size was long enough for my truck and 5thwheel. Site Closeness is good. Plenty of room between RV's. Roads are gravel but good through out the campground. Restrooms are nice and clean as well as the Laundry. No Long term tenants. Payment was with a US credit card. This is not a fancy campground but much better overall than other campground I stayed in while in Canada. I would stay here if back in the area.

Date of Stay:

50 and 30amp electric is available but not on the same pedestal. Breakers are at the top of the pedestal. Sewer is OK, opening for my site is about 5" above grade and concrete is so close around the sewer pipe you can't get your hose connected screwed in properly. The campground makes a big effort to let you know to use the tight connection. Can't do it with a RV sewer hose. The sewer is about 5 inches above the ground so a sewer hose support would be necessary. Water 40@ psi. Wi-Fi is terrible. Takes a long time to load a website and then while you are doing what you want to do it disconnects you. When it works it is fairly good, but if you pause you will loose your access. It was free with a weeks stay. There is no cable. The over the air has 6 channels that are clear. Sites are large gravel. Grass on each side and wooden rail fence between sites. The wooden rail extends to the ends of the camp site and can present a problem getting in and out for large rigs. Water and Sewer is in a concrete area. Sites have plenty of room between them so awnings and slides are no problem. The interior road between sites is also large gravel and have large potholes. You have to go slow so you won't bounce your rig a lot. One thing that I found is that DirecTV is possible here. I stayed a week so there was no discounts. Payment with an American credit card is no problem. Additional Charges are for a gate card. The campground has an electric gate that is locked at all times. Deposit is returned when leaving the campground. Nightly rate is for a week in US currency. I would stay here again when in the area.
