Lovely park, especially after camping in Medora, ND campground. The owner was friendly and helpful. Our site had no fire ring and she put one in just where we wanted it, and she cut down a tree branch to make pulling our camper into the perfect spot much easier. The Wi-Fi signal was strong. Road noise from Highway 2 was a bit obvious, but at dark the park itself was quiet and peaceful. This has a real campground feel. Campers walked around and conversed with one another, but everyone was very respectful of privacy. The bathrooms were older but clean and freshly painted. There was pride in ownership here! The owner also brought out yard games for the younger children to play. We will stay here again if we find ourselves passing this way!

I rated this park a "three" because of its proximity to Theodore Roosevelt National Park, its showers, and the fact that I did not feel unsafe while camping. Other than that, this park has little going for it. The sites are tiny, poorly defined, and poorly maintained. When we checked in, the young man behind the desk seemed to be put out by the questions we asked. The showers were hot, but the facility is old and needs a lot of work. There were no fire rings and the grills were all canted at an angle.
