We stayed here as a stop before attending a music festival in the area, to dump and fill our tanks and spend a relaxing night. We were not disappointed. Our site backed up to a small channel off the main lake and was very deep. As the weather was hot and humid it was great to have 50 amp without running the generator. This is on our must visit list to spend more than 1 night. There was a large group in the interior of the loop, all having a good time, but not in anyway infringing on anyone else's fun. We walked around part of the lake and enjoyed the wildlife. The staff all were very friendly.

We only stopped over night on the way home from western Ohio, but we will definitely be back to explorer the park and the area. Our route was along the Ohio Scenic Byway and was an pleasant end to an otherwise horrendous drive along Rt 71. The park is off the beaten path and being a Sunday night, there were plenty of open site, but only a few big rig friendly. The site we were in was 30 A and no water, but there is a water fill and dump station near the park office. I saw the pool but did not go for a swim, but again will plan on taking full advantage of the amenities another trip. The staff was very friendly and even offered to escort me back to my site. It's heavily shaded so no satellite but over air was acceptable.

As others have said, the roads in are narrow and dusty, but it's New Jersey pine barrens, so no way to avoid. We were in a W/E site and the rate is a little high, but we were very close to our destination, so reasonable. We stayed for the long Labor Day weekend, and there were lots of activities all weekend long, however we did not participate due to other plans. The staff were very friendly, check in was quick. There are a lot of seasonal sites, but our loop was mostly transients, however all neighbors were friendly. A bonus is the dog park for those with canine companions. We had great stay, and will definitely stay again.

We stayed her last Labor Day and end of May 2015, so we knew what to expect for the most part. Both times were to attend an event at Hershey. The people that work there are very nice. The location is good for Hershey as its only 20 minutes away. The location to Lancaster and Harrisburg, both about 45 minutes is decent. On our most recent visit the park was almost empty when we arrived, so it was quiet. The site we were in was the same as last year, and is large enough to fit our 38' and toad. The hook ups are in the middle rear and split to 4 sites so be prepared with extra hose, or power cord. This visit, the pool was closed, even though it was after Memorial Day, the tennis / basket ball courts were filled with picnic tables. This is a home base for Hershey if you have low expectations. It is a short drive from Rt 283 so if traveling the Harrisburg / Lancaster area, it's easy on and off. At $55 a night, it's an expensive stop.

Unfortunately this was only an over night stop for us. I would have loved to explore this CG and the area, but time was not on our side. The staff was extremely accommodating as we arrived late and they waited for us. We arrived right after a heavy rain fall so there was a lot of wash out on the gravel roads, but this CG is on the side of a mountain, so it is to be expected. It is very rustic, but also very nice with lighted power poles and large sewer basins. This is on my list for places to stop next year for a long weekend.

This is a nice resort CG located in the beautiful Smokey Mountains. It is close to everything you could want in a resort vacation area. The area is very busy as it near so much, but overall it was quiet. We were in a "river side" site, which is more of a creek, but still nice. If traveling to this area again I would not hesitate to stay here again. Friendly staff, a small store that did not have a lot, but there is so much nearby it does not matter.

I wish this place was closer to home as it would be my new home base. We were on the point, which are water front sites. These were approx 50 yards back from waters edge, which made it seem like our own private back yard up to the lake. With beautiful views of Cordell Hull lake, large and level sites, there is not much else you can ask for in a COE Park.
