Pine Cone Camping, Sussex, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

A very family oriented campground with lots of kids biking, families walking their dogs, and others walking for exercise. Everyone seemed polite and friendly (including fellow campers and kids). Lots of well-maintained seasonals that are decked out nicely and look very pretty at night time (makes for a great walk in the evening!). Sites are with trees but lots of light filtering in. Water pressure was excellent; electric power was great. My only disappointment was that the bathrooms are very out-of-date and need major updating. Still, we would camp there again in a heartbeat. We camped at Pine Cone Camping in a Travel Trailer.

Halifax West KOA, Upper Sackville, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Our site ended up being on a marshy river with ducks, which was a real treat to see out our trailer window. We had a gravel site, with good water and electricity. Wi-Fi was adequate. We were really impressed that there is someone on duty outside the washrooms all through the night just as a safety precaution. The washrooms are clean and new. We didn't get to use the pool, but it looked very inviting. We would camp there again. We camped at Halifax West KOA in a Travel Trailer.
