EZ Daze RV Park, Southaven, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Extremely well maintained park. The staff is very helpful. Great, large level sites with convenient hookups. If it stopped there I could give them a 10 but this park is directly in the flight path of the airport that is the hub for Fedex with most of their flights at night. You get the idea. No sleeping here. We camped at EZ Daze RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Gaston Americamps, Bracey, Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Nice views. Park is mostly residential. The park is clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. The gnats were horrific and made our stay most unpleasant. Would probably not return for that reason. We camped at Lake Gaston Americamps in a Motorhome.

Very clean park. Camp hosts and rangers were very friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful lakefront site which was very large. Very nice trails for hiking and biking. All in all a very peaceful place. We would stay here again for sure. We camped at Laura S. Walker State Park in a Motorhome.

Rate is based on weekly stay. Clean, safe and well maintained park which is a rarity south of Atlanta. The staff here is friendly and all areas although older are clean. Would stay here again when traveling through. We camped at Forest Glen Estates in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear Jellystone Park, Bremen, Georgia

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Park advertising deceptive in its proximity to Atlanta. Residential park with many activities for children. Would not stay here again. Office staffed sporadically with more energy placed towards children's activities than customer service or needs of adult guests. We camped at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Missouri Park Campground, Mountain Grove, Missouri

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Clean park. Owner stayed in office late to assist us as we came in after hours. Trees made satellite reception difficult on first site but we changed sites without difficulty and all was well. Would stay here again. We camped at Missouri Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Lakeside Recreational Resort, Assaria, Kansas

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This park gave me a nostalgic feel from the old family lakeside campgrounds. Having said that it has seen better days. The lake level is very low so none of the recreation activities were available. The pool has been drained. We were in the only open big rig site. The people were nice. Mostly a residential park. Okay for overnight using Passport America. We camped at Lakeside Recreational Resort in a Motorhome.

Shady Grove Campground, Seibert, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

The price above was for a Passport America rate. The owners were friendly. The Wi-Fi was actually very good. Pool is above ground and old. We stopped here as an overnight only and it seems okay for that. It is essentially a dirt lot with some shade. Full hookups worked well including the 50 amp. We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Motorhome.

Rifle Gap State Park - Lakeview Loop, Rifle, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

One of the best parks we've visited in 4 years of full timing. Spotty cell service but we really didn't care. The area is amazing. The views are lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful. Sites are huge with lovely, large gravel patios and covered picnic tables. We camped at Rifle Gap State Park - Lakeview Loop in a Motorhome.

Goulding's Lodge & Campground, Monument Valley, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Only park near Monument Valley. Dirt sites. Wi-Fi only worked if sitting outside. Buy groceries prior to arrival; local store very overpriced ($18 for container of coffee). Park rules regarding pets not enforced: several large dogs running loose in park. We camped at Goulding's Lodge & Campground in a Motorhome.
