Crow Wing State Park, Brainerd, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

The park seemed nice but we only saw it from the windows of the truck and camper as the mosquitoes were absolutely horrible. Luckily we weren't planning to hang around the camper much during our 2 day stay. We toured the Brainerd lakes area and kept our campground time to a minumum due to the mosquitoes. We camped at Crow Wing State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Spearfish City Campground, Spearfish, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We liked this campground a lot except that the sites are pretty tight. I bet it's pretty crowded in the middle of the summer. It's close enough to downtown to walk or bike. There are walking/biking trails following the creek throughout town. We saw deer running thru the campground numerous times. We would stay here again. We camped at Spearfish City Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Custer's Gulch RV Park, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. Worked very well for us to explore the Southern Hills. It was relatively close to Custer State Park which gave us a short drive to the Buffalo Roundup. Very quiet with large sites. We would stay here again. We camped at Custer's Gulch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Eagle Cliff Campground & Lodging, Lanesboro, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. Nice people. Be careful if you stay. Our site had 50 amp service and I don't carry an adapter for 50 amp and the campground didn't have any adapters left to borrow or buy. Luckily it was a cool enough weekend that 20 amp service was good enough. Ask questions when booking the site as to what electric service your site will have. Otherwise a great place to stay and good area to visit. We camped at Eagle Cliff Campground & Lodging in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice campground. There is walking trails and a zoo plus the waterfall. The golf course is real close too. I have stayed here 3 or 4 times and will again. We camped at Alexander Ramsey Park in a Fifth Wheel.
