This park is back off the main drag, the road to the park is gravel but ok....our site was level and shady and all services worked ok.....the pull thrus are close together but we were only here for the night...didn't use showers or restrooms....they have a small kitchen in office and they will fix things like pizza or burgers, we has pizza and for the price it was very good, along with salad and drinks, including beer....they also serve breakfast.....the owners are very friendly....good ATT signal, wifi was not good at our spot so we used our hotspots....got about 15 channels over the air...all in all good valve for your dollar, would stay here again.

We stayed in loop 1 which is first come first served....we were able to maneuver our 36' mh ok but I wouldn't go much bigger, there are very few spots for a mh this size in this loop but there are some, leveling in some of the spots is challenging, but manageable....of course there are no hookups and didn't use the restrooms....this loop has some excellent views of the dunes and the surrounding mountains....ATT cell service was almost not existent so wifi or using your hotspot is not good...the host was very friendly and accommodating....most of the pull thru sites are just pull overs on the road so stepping out of your vehicle can be close to vehicle traffic....this is a typical national park campground and in our opinion is worth the price...we would stay here again.....

Site was big and level with some shade...park is big rig friendly....all services worked good...good ATT cell signal, wifi was alright and got a lot of channels over the air....park is close to the town which makes it nice.....showers were very clean and the owner takes pride in how the park looks, we didn't mind the rules that were imposed because it enhances your stay....very easy to find and just off the main highway....would stay here again....office staff was very friendly and helpful....

We had a back in site that was somewhat private with lots of shade....sites are fairly level and big rig friendly....all services worked well...good ATT signal, wifi was ok...a lot of over the air channels....the showers and laundry room were very clean and modern, I like the way they have the shower head mounted in the ceiling above you....plenty of hot water....the staff was very friendly and helpful....very convenient to Mesa Verde Park and close to town...we would stay here again.

We stayed in the newer back section....this has to be the friendliest big rig campground I've ever been to....the new sites are huge, you could put 2 campers or class A's on one site....very level and all services worked great.....wi-fi was fine, good cell signal, ATT.....the restrooms are the individual type and there are plenty of them with plenty of hot water, very clean all around the campground and very convenient to everything including the park......the staff was very nice and the laundry facilities have a lot of washers with very big dryers and computers you could use for a fee, while waiting for your clothes.....not a lot of shade in the newer section which I feel is the only bad thing about this campground...would definitely stay here again.....

This is a great location for the beautiful sites around this area......the sites are fairly level and it's big rig friendly.....all the services worked great, wifi a little slow but ok......very nice showers with plenty of hot water, the laundry was very nice and cheap by most campgrounds...1.25 washer and .25 for 30 minutes of drying time.....office staff very nice....there are some shade trees to help from the sun...good cell signal, ATT....would definitely stay here again....

The sites are fairly level and long enough for my 36' mh with toad....all services worked great including the wifi.....restrooms and laundry are very clean, but they need more showers for a park this size, they are private individual showers and there are only two for the whole park.....as others have said there are alot of rules but I felt they only enforced the ones that made money for them.....but never the less it makes for a nice park....the staff was very helpful and seemed friendly...the park is big rig friendly and very convenient to I40 about one mile...we would stay here again if in the area.....

Definitely a overnight stopping place.....the sites are very close and there are a lot of permanent residents it appears.....full hookups which worked good...sites are fairly level and pull thrus were big enough for mh and toad but it could be tight getting in or out if park is full...laundry was still closed for season, will not open till May...need tokens for shower...wifi was hard to get connected and dropped out a lot, used our hotspots instead with good cell service...no cable and we couldn't get any over air channels, I'm sure it's because of location over the mountain from Albuquerque....just 6 miles off I40, entrance road has some nasty potholes so drive slowly

This is a beautiful spot to spend some time....although it's 35 miles from the Caverns, we prefer the state park setting compared to the resort style...the sites are fairly level and it's big rig friendly....the services worked good although we did lose electric one night for about an hour, around 4 in the morning....there are only 3 sites with sewer but they have a dump station...the sites have good spacing between them which is nice since there are no large trees to help seclude you....the restrooms were clean but the push button showers are a pain but tolerable....a lot of wildlife around the campground.....we would stay here again....beautiful sunsets and views of the lake.....all the picnic tables are on a covered patio which is nice.....beware of the wind and your awning, we never put ours out .........

This is a great over night stop....sites are level with full hookups....all services were working good....staff is very friendly and helpful.....easy access from interstate.....restrooms and showers were clean and plenty of hot water...would stay here again if passing thru.....

This is a beautiful park about 25 miles from San Antonio....we love the state park setting, its quiet and your site is mostly secluded from the others....we had full hookups but not all the sites are....most of the sites will handle a big rig, there are 3 different camping areas here but the turkey sinks campground is the only one that can handle big rigs...our site was level and all hookups worked great...we picked up alot of local channels with antenna and our ATT cell service worked great and used our hotspot for wifi...restrooms were clean and plenty of hot water....the only reason I did not give it a 10 rating is because they charge you 7$ a person per day entrance fee even if you are camping, so although we paid 24$ a night the total cost per day was 38$....of course this is if your out of state and don't have a Texas park pass....but it was worth it because the park is beautiful....

This is a great place for a stop over, 3 miles off I-10. The owner was very nice and helpful, he lives onsite so call his cell and he is right there. Big rig friendly, FHU and all services worked great including the wifi. Nice level concrete spots with a small patio. Restrooms were very clean as well as the park. Will definitely stay here again if passing through. Site was long enough for our 36' MH plus tow.

This is our second time here and once again we are not disappointed...the sites are so secluded from each other and very large...the staff is excellent and very helpful... the services are top notch and everything is very clean....strong cell signal, AT&T...no wifi we used our hotspot....big rig friendly and this is one of the few campgrounds we have been to that the clothes line is already there for you....level sites...we got a last minute site so our 36' mh fit with room to spare but most sites are a lot bigger and it wouldn't be any problem....nice walk to the beach and riding your bike around is nice too.....we will be back.....

This is a great over night stop or if you are going to be in the area for a couple of days...a lot of things to do in the area....the sites are very close and very shady...fairly level with full hook ups, all services including Wifi worked well....our site had a concrete patio for the picnic table...laundry services worked well and there is one bathhouse for the whole camp ground but it was clean and served its purpose but could be a long wait if really busy....staff was nice....not a place I would spend the week at but I would stay again if passing thru.....just 2.6 miles off expressway and back big rig friendly....

This park has something for everyone....we camped here 9 days in a mh....most sites are large and big rig friendly, some sites are more private than others, but all have shade, are level and full hookups, except for a few, that only have e&w...All utilities worked great and restrooms were clean...plenty of over the air tv stations...a lot of nice walking, biking trails that we used a lot.....like I said this park has a little of everything for every age group....we will definitely be back....
