Wind River RV Park, Riverton, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice level sites easy to get into....not alot of shade and it was hot but it sure cools down at night.....our services worked great, full hookups and 50 amps which we needed to run both a/c's....the restrooms were very clean and the showers are some of the best you'll ever use in a RV park, each shower has its own private room with a glass enclosure like you would have at home.....plenty of hot water and plenty of room....cell service ATT was good and we used our hotspots since we could not connect to their WiFi....got 15 channels with our antenna....the sites are close but this is a great spot for a stopover on your way to Yellowstone or the Tetons....we used the laundry and it was very nice with a lot of washers and dryers, 1.50 wash and .25 for 10 minutes of drying time.....the retired Navy Captain is very friendly and a great owner we would return if in the area....big rig friendly and easy to get to from the main road..... We camped at Wind River RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Roost Resort, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small campground with very nice owners who are always working around the campground....the spots are mostly level with some shade depending on your site...we had full hookup but only 2 sites have it....The services worked great and the restrooms and showers were very clean with a lot of hot water....cell service, ATT was ok and our hotspots were very slow also, never could connect to WiFi....got 6 channels with our antenna....our site had a great view of the hills and open field which had a lot of deer in it every night....the owners had ice cream and cake for the campers on the 4th and he put patriotic table cloths on all the picnic tables....very quiet and very nice we will return if in the area....close to everything.... We camped at The Roost Resort in a Motorhome.

Left Tailrace Campground COE, Fort Thompson, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice campground, we stopped for the night on our way to Custer. The spots are level and spacious with electric only, we had 50 amp service, there are water spigots all around the campground to fill your tank, a dump station is available. Good cell ATT service, used our hotspots and got several tv stations. If water is your thing than this is the place, fishing, swimming and boating. The park is big rig friendly and family oriented. This is a COE campground so it is clean and well maintained. We would comeback if in the area..... We camped at Left Tailrace Campground COE in a Motorhome.

N. P. Dodge Park, Omaha, Nebraska

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived today with reservations but they were closing the park due to the expected flooding in the area later this week....the park sits next to the Missouri River....they had all ready gotten us a spot at the other city owned park, Cunningham lake....so this review is about what I saw at Dodge Park....the sites are large and level big rig friendly, electric only, they have water spigots where u can fill your tank and a dump station...not a lot of shade....cell service was good and I would think u could get a lot of tv channels cause u r in the middle of the city...picnic tables, fire rings at each site which they were moving to storage while we were there...overall from what we saw we would stay here again if in the area....our site would had been a pull thru long enough for mh and toad.... We camped at N. P. Dodge Park in a Motorhome.

Finger Lakes State Park, Columbia, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park to stop at for the night, about 6 miles off expressway. Some sites are level and some not (like most parks) so make sure you have some blocks but overall not too bad. The is a lot of shade and there is some privacy between sites. They only have electric but there is a dump station and water spigots around so you can fill your tank. Electric service was good, cell service ATT was good and we used our hotspots, got a dozen channels over the air. The shower house has individual showers and looked to be fairly new, but could sure use a good cleaning, paper and soap bars everywhere....plenty of hot water. I was told the camp host had a medical issue and had to leave so that may explain the trash lying around the campsites and shower houses. Park ranger was always visible and the checkin lady was very nice. A lot of dirt bike trails so a lot of riders, but never really heard anything but I'm sure there are times when the noise could be bad on the weekends. We would stay here again if passing thru. We camped at Finger Lakes State Park in a Motorhome.

Diamond Lake Resort, Owensboro, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This park has been around awhile and it's starting to show.....the sites are level but there is not a lot of room to maneuver if it's really crowded.....a lot of shade and your neighbor is close....make sure u have a extra water hose cause u may need it...too many golf carts in my opinion so be careful when driving....this park has more to offer than any park we have been to, u will not run out of things to do...services worked great, cell service was ok, ATT, we used our hotspots but they do have WiFi if u wish to purchase....got 15 channels over the air...the staff was great and friendly....restrooms were clean but could use some maintenance, showers the same, plenty of hot water....we have a 36' MH and had no problems but longer rvs could....we would stay here again if in the area... We camped at Diamond Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

Big Bone Lick State Park, Union, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We live close and wanted to take our granddaughter camping for a couple of days and chose Big Bone....the site was fairly level but a lot of the sites are not so beware when you make a reservation you may need some blocks. The electric was fine, but I needed the third hose to get to the water spigot, so make sure you got 75 feet of hose. No full hookups, but the dump station is easy in and out The sites are somewhat large but open, so privacy is not going to happen. There are trees throughout the campground, so there is some shade at most sites. The restrooms were clean and plenty of hot water. We got a lot of over the air TV stations and cell signal, ATT, was for the most part was non existent Interior roads are big rig friendly, sites are asphalt with a gravel patio area with picnic table and fire ring. Staff was nice as always, putt putt, pool and playgrounds for everyone. Don't forget to go and see the Bison, not as big as the ones at Yellowstone. It's a nice park to relax and visit the Ark or the Creation Museum that are close by. We will stay here again. We feel this is a very family friendly park and encourage you to enjoy it sometime. We camped at Big Bone Lick State Park in a Motorhome.

Geneva State Park, Geneva, Ohio

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

I notice I was the last one to review but i will review again. We really enjoy the park because of all the activities around the park. This time we went fishing on lake Erie with a charter, Walleye Encounters. The park is close to the lake still (ha-ha), so a short hike or bike ride and there you are. All sites are level and large, the asphalt area is sort of narrow so your steps may come out on the grass rather than the asphalt but it's a minor detail. A lot of trees around so shade is there. There is still just one bathhouse with showers so you may have to wait in line for a shower, but the water is hot and the showers are clean. They are redoing about 15 of the sites for full hookups and they should be done soon, so this will make this park even more popular than it already is. Electric was fine and water spigots are around the campground to fill your tank. Dump station is easy in and out. Got a lot of TV stations and cell service. ATT was great. The staff is great and if you are a water person than this is the place for you. This is our third time staying here and will stay here again if in the area or looking for a park not far from home. We camped at Geneva State Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Once again we enjoyed our stay....our site sloped some front to back but was able to level....services worked great with fhu and our site had a great view of the mighty Mississippi River....restrooms and laundry were clean, with plenty of hot water...park was peaceful and the area is great to explore....AT&T was ok, used our hotspots although the park has Tango, but it was very slow....once again this is by far one of the nicest parks in our commonwealth.... Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $72.00
Overall Rating:

This was a nice quiet park....the sites were fairly level, had to do some leveling but I've seen worse....plenty of room for a big rig....the services were good with good water pressure....clean restrooms and plenty of hot water, but like others have said the showers have a small bench but it's in the shower area so your dry clothes could get wet if your not careful....this was a nice location to Tupelo and the surrounding area.....some hiking trails and we rode our bikes around the park, also played some disc golf.....friendly staff and the laundry facilities were good, 1.50 wash 1.00 dry.....we would stay here again..... Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park that has something for everyone and has a site for any type of camping equipment you may have....it's clean, well ran and has miles and miles of hiking and biking trails....services are great, with nice level sites that view the water or are more settled back in the woods....not all the sites have a fire ring but we went to the local Walmart and bought a fire pit for a great price which mad our site and stay complete.....no doubt about it we will be back..... Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We had reserved site 204, but when we arrived we decided to take one of the gulf view sites near the front entrance so this review is about that site.....our site was level and had a great view of the gulf, you are near the highway so there is some traffic noise but it didn't bother us...site was grass and big rig friendly....there are only water and electric at these sites as opposed to the rest of the park which are full hookups...there are no shade trees on these sites so it would be very warm in July or August...services worked fine...We got AT&T Cell signal and used our hotspots, also got plenty of over the air channels with the antenna.....during the summer this park has a lot going on, but this time of the year the pools and things look like that are closed for the season.....the park is very level so you can ride your bike around the park or on the main road near the water, there is also a nature trail inside the park or you can walk along the path on the sea wall...the staff was excellent and the laundry facilities were very good...A lot to do and see around the area, we will definitely return....
