Lazy Day Campground, Danville, Missouri

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The owners are a fun group and very helpful. The sites are easy to get in and out of and the campground is a close to the Interstate. The road leading to the park is a little narrow but we had no problem with it. The utilities worked well and we were able to get several over the air TV channels. The grounds are decorated with all kinds of cool things. We would stay here again. We camped at Lazy Day Campground in a Motorhome.

Clarksville RV Park & Campground, Clarksville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived after hours and found our reservation information and map taped on the office door. Easy to get in and out and very convenient to the Interstate. Utilities work well but we did have an issue with the sewer connection but it looked like someone filled it with rocks. Owner quickly responded to the issue. Very friendly owners and clean park. We would stay here again. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Over-Niter RV Park, Athens, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

There is nothing fancy about this park but it is a good place to stay a few days if in the area. Most sites are pull through, has a pad but just barely large enough for our 40' motorhome and Jeep. It is easy to get in and out and around the park. No cable TV but you can rent a satellite box is desired, we could not pickup any local channels using our over the air antenna. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. We camped at Over-Niter RV Park in a Motorhome.

Charlotte / Fort Mill KOA, Fort Mill, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

The other comments concerning the entrance is something to be aware of. It's a little confusing but we had no problem getting and out with our 40' motorhome. The sites are dirt and tight but we had enough room to extend our awning. Some sites are only 30 amps so request a 50 amp early if you desire one. The utilities and Wi-Fi worked well and the host is friendly. The pool was clean as was the park. There was a lot of barking dogs which we found annoying. We would stay here again if needed. We camped at Charlotte / Fort Mill KOA in a Motorhome.

Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort, Marysvale, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Our pull-through site was fairly level and all utilities worked well. The Wi-Fi signal is weak and slow when you can connect. The campground is poorly marked and easy to miss. Across the street there is a huge Big Rock Candy Mountain sign, restaurant and hotel. Getting into the campground is tricky and has a low overhang of 12' 8" in front of the office that we steered around. We would stay here again if in the area and can't get into Richfield. We camped at Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort in a Motorhome.

Salt Lake City KOA, Salt Lake City, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

This is a huge park with level gravel pull-through sites. All utilities worked well as did the Wi-Fi. It is easy to get around in but it was very busy with many people arriving and leaving while we were there. The water pressure can be high so make sure you have regulator. The host are very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. We camped at Salt Lake City KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The campground is located next to the fairgrounds and it was easy to get to but a bit confusing on where to turn-in. Turn at the stop light and they have plenty of parking to the right near the office.
The Temple Square provides a free shuttle but you must inform the office personnel that you want a ride.
Nearby is the best Mexican Restaurant we have ever eaten at... the Red Iguana. You will probably have to wait for a table but it's worth it.

Hi Valley RV Park, Boise, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park with level gravel pull-through sites. All utilities worked well as did the Wi-Fi. The campground is fairly easy to get to but it is several miles from the main highway. It was easy to get around in and they escort you to your site. We didn't stay here long enough to enjoy the pool and hot tub but they looked very clean. The sites are a bit tight but we have seen much tighter. The host are friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. We camped at Hi Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beach RV Park, Benton City, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

The short term sites are very nice pull-through and all utilities worked well as did the Wi-Fi. The campground was easy to get to and easy to get around in. The cable TV requires a converter box but they provide this for free but it is up to you to install it. The water pressure can be high so make sure you have a regulator. We would stay here again. We camped at Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Alpine RV Park, Marblemount, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

This campground's location is great for visiting the national park. It is aged and has many older permanent campers but the grass pull-through sites are fairly level and easy to get into. We had a 50 amp site and all utilities worked well as did the Wi-Fi. We were not able to receive any over the air TV channels and they do not cable. The host is very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. We camped at Alpine RV Park in a Motorhome.

Alderbrook RV Park, Aldergrove, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We had one of the few pull-through sites in this park. It was a paved level site with a patio and table. The utilities worked well as did the Wi-Fi and cable. It was easy to get to and fairly easy to get around in the park even with our 40' motorhome. We did see a couple of people struggle to get into their back-in site because of all the vehicles parked in the road. The host is friendly as were our neighbors. We would stay here again. We camped at Alderbrook RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gold Trail RV Park, Clinton, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This campground has pull-through and back-in sites. They are fairly level but we did need to use wood blocks on our dirt pull-through site. This campground is nothing fancy but works good for a night or two. The owner is a smartass but I believe this is his way of trying to be funny, he takes it as good as he dishes it. The utilities worked well but the Wi-Fi is only available from 4PM to 10AM and $2. They don't have cable but we were able to get 3 over the air channels. Getting to the campground is easy from the highway but getting around in it was a little tight for our 40'. We would stay here again. We camped at Gold Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you enjoy geocaching, the city has several hidden in this area. You can walk to Clinton from the campground and they have done an excellent job at erecting information signs and pictures about its history.

Shady Rest RV Park, Houston, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed on one of their full service level pull-through sites. The utilities worked well and the Wi-Fi was very good. We also had good Verizon cell service. No cable or over the air TV service. The campground is easy to get in and out and about 2 miles from Houston. We would stay here again. We camped at Shady Rest RV Park in a Motorhome.

Meziadin Provincial Park, Meziadin Junction, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice level back-in dirt sites some with 30A electrical. We had a water front site with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The site also had a table and fire pit. No cell, TV or Wi-Fi services. The roads are a bit tight for a big rig but we managed with a 40' towing a Jeep. Friendly host and we would stay here again. We camped at Meziadin Provincial Park in a Motorhome.
