Sun Valley RV Resort (formerly Root 66 RV Park), Sun Valley, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is nothing fancy but looks like the owners are trying to improve it. It is easy to get to and easy to get around in. We had a pull-through dirt FHU site. The utilities worked well but the Wi-Fi was slow and the signal was weak at our site. Our Verizon signal was also weak. The owner was nice and helpful. We would stay here again. We camped at Sun Valley RV Resort (formerly Root 66 RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Leeds RV Park & Motel, Leeds, Utah

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Nightly rate is calculated from a monthly rate plus electricity. Campground is easy to get to and easy to get around in. We had a gravel back-in site with a little shade and a concrete patio. Utilities worked well as did the cable but you do need to attach a converter box between the cable and TV. The roads are dirt so it is a little dusty. The host are great and make you feel very welcomed. We liked the location because it is convenient to a couple of towns but far enough away to get away from the crowds. We would stay here again. We camped at Leeds RV Park & Motel in a Motorhome.

Arizona Charlie's Las Vegas RV Park, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is easy to get to and easy to get around in. Sites are on the tight size but we had no issues with our 40' motorhome. The utilities worked well and staff was friendly. Our site was near the back of the park so road noise was not a problem. We would stay here again. We camped at Arizona Charlie's Las Vegas RV Park in a Motorhome.

King's Row, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

There is nothing fancy about this campground but it is a good deal. It was easy to get to and also easy to get around in. There are lots of long term campers but sites were clean. All utilities worked well and staff was friendly. Electricity is extra for weekly rate. There were lots of homeless in the surrounding area but we didn't see any issues. We would stay here again. We camped at King's Row in a Motorhome.

McArthur's Temple View RV Resort, St George, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a couple of weeks while getting our Jeep repaired. Campground is easy to get to but the sites are a little tight to get into. The location is great with many places to eat nearby and trails within walking distance. The utilities worked well and the Wi-Fi was okay. They have a clubhouse with nice pool tables. We would stay here again. We camped at McArthur's Temple View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Mount Carmel Motel and RV, Mount Carmel, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Nice little park easy to get to but the sites can be a little tricky to get into with a big rig. We had a level site next to the road with some grass but most are all dirt. The road noise was loud at times but quieted down at night. No 50 amps or cable but our Verizon cellular worked fine and we used our satellite system. Owners are very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. We camped at Mount Carmel Motel and RV in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

It's not far to the east gate of Zion but it will take you 45 minutes or so to get to the visitor center. Go early to get a parking space because you have to ride the park's shuttle bus to see most of the park.

Page Lake Powell Campground, Page, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is easy to get to but our GPS was not very accurate with it's location. We had a level back-in spot near the office. Utilities worked well as did the cable and Wi-Fi. They have a nice indoor pool and hot tub. Office personnel were friendly and helpful and they have a small store in office area. We would stay here again. We camped at Page Lake Powell Campground in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is located behind the casino. Easy to get to and easy to get around in. Utilities worked well the Wi-Fi was good. Many channel on cable but our signal was weak and some channels were snowy. Good cellular signal on our Verizon plan. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool and sauna was very nice and clean. They also have a 1 foot kiddy pool. We have stayed here before and would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Sleeping Ute RV Park (formerly Ute Mountain Casino RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Great Sand Dunes Oasis RV Park, Mosca, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Small RV campground that was easy to get to but a little tricky to park in your spot. It is a lot easier to back into your pull-through site if you have a long motorhome. Utilities worked well but no cable or OTA TV channels. There is also no Wi-Fi but we had a pretty strong Verizon connection. Roads are all dirt and they have a store and restaurant onsite. It is located very near the National Park. We would stay here again. We camped at Great Sand Dunes Oasis RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is very easy to get to and we had a back-in site up front that was easy to get into. It's not well lit at night and easy to miss in the dark. All utilities worked well but no cable and we couldn't get any OTA channels. Wi-Fi was slow and we couldn't get much of a cell signal with Verizon but we didn't mind. It is only few miles from the National Park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes in a Motorhome.

High Plains Camping, Oakley, Kansas

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is easy to get to and easy to get around in. All utilities worked well and the TV cable had many channels. They claim to be able to get several OTA channels but we did try it. The grounds are generally clean but they do have a few spots that need attention. We camped at High Plains Camping in a Motorhome.

Riverview RV Park & Campground, Loveland, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Park is easy to get to and easy to get around in. All roads are dirt so lots of dust but they do have a water truck running during the day which helped a lot. All utilities worked will and Wi-Fi was average for a campground. It is on the river and some campers were fishing. They had a musical jam the weekend we were there and they were very good. Staff in office was very helpful and friendly. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Lazy Day Campground, Danville, Missouri

Overall Rating:

The owners are a fun group and very helpful. The sites are easy to get in and out of and the campground is a close to the Interstate. The road leading to the park is a little narrow but we had no problem with it. The utilities worked well and we were able to get several over the air TV channels. The grounds are decorated with all kinds of cool things. We would stay here again. We camped at Lazy Day Campground in a Motorhome.

Clarksville RV Park & Campground, Clarksville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived after hours and found our reservation information and map taped on the office door. Easy to get in and out and very convenient to the Interstate. Utilities work well but we did have an issue with the sewer connection but it looked like someone filled it with rocks. Owner quickly responded to the issue. Very friendly owners and clean park. We would stay here again. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Over-Niter RV Park, Athens, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

There is nothing fancy about this park but it is a good place to stay a few days if in the area. Most sites are pull through, has a pad but just barely large enough for our 40' motorhome and Jeep. It is easy to get in and out and around the park. No cable TV but you can rent a satellite box is desired, we could not pickup any local channels using our over the air antenna. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. We camped at Over-Niter RV Park in a Motorhome.
