Turkey Point Provincial Park, Turkey Point, Ontario

First time staying in this Provincial Park, might be our new favorite next to the Pinery. Sites were very large and private. Very nice park. We camped at Turkey Point Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pittock Conservation Area, Woodstock, Ontario

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here to visit friends that have a Seasonal site in this park. It was okay, nice site right on the lake, but seeing hi-rise apartment buildings across the late just wasn't "camping". CN train tracks run along the edge of the park so you can hear them constantly. Would we go back, yes to visit our friends but certainly not for the camping experience. We camped at Pittock Conservation Area in a Fifth Wheel.

Hidden Valley Park, Normandale, Ontario

This was a great campground, clean, friendly and pet friendly. Short drive to Turkey Point and beautiful beach. Nice walk or bike ride to Normandale beach which is small but dog friendly. Nice pool, great walking trails just outside the park. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Hidden Valley Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pinery Provincial Park, Grand Bend, Ontario

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park to camp in. We generally camp here off season as it is very difficult to get a site July through mid-September. Washrooms and showers are spotless at all times, lots of hot water. Dumping stations easily accessible. Beach is very nice and the have a dog beach which is a huge draw for us. Thanksgiving and Halloween in this park are truly events not to be missed! Park Store has just about everything you could have forgotten at home and then some. We camped at Pinery Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.
