Blue Mountain RV Park, Blanding, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Level gravel sites. All of the hookups were functional. A very nice park that is very suitable for an overnight stop but should be good for a few days if cable is not an issue. Friendly staff. Right next to busy highway with some truck noise. Good scenic views. Would stay there again. We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Durango KOA, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Fairly level dirt and gravel sites. Picnic table and grill at site. Facilities were clean and functional. Electrical connections were toward the front and sewer more toward the back of our site. Rigs with rear electrical connections might have a problem with power cord or sewer hose length. Right next to a busy highway but noise did not seem to be an issue. Playground, swimming pool, and activities. We would stay there again. We camped at Durango KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Willis Creek COE, Granger, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2006 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Nice out of the way park. Sites are paved and needed a little leveling. Good spacing between sites and each site has a covered picnic table. Also has a fire ring and bbq grill. All sites are closed to the lake and you can fish from the bank. The only thing that caused concern was that the power was only 110 volts during our stay. We camped at Willis Creek COE in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a COE park. Sites are all back in except for two or three. The sites are paved and each one has a covered picnic table and a grill. Overall appearance was very nice and the sites were clean and level. Shopping and restaurants were about 5 miles away. The attendants were friendly and very helpful. We camped at Dana Peak COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice campground with level concrete sites. Big heated swimming pool with hot tub and a 1ft "kiddy pool". There is a playground for the kids. They allow fishing in the lake. Friendly and helpful staff. We had an excellent connection with the WiFi. Shopping close by and a cafe on-site. Would stay there again. We camped at Lake Conroe / Houston North KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Cleburne State Park, Cleburne, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2005 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicer state parks. Has boat rental, lake swimming and fishing. Reasonably stocked store. Sites are long with ample room but some will need more leveling than others. Only one section, the upper, has 50amp service. Saw squirrels and raccoons. We camped at Cleburne State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Bastrop State Park, Bastrop, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2005 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

A nice Texas State Park. Has long asphalt pull through sites. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern poll. The hookups were in good condition. The park has a lake, swimming pool, hiking/biking trails, and a golf course. The only problem is that some trees need to be cut back around the sites as the limbs were brushing against the fifth wheel on the loops. We camped at Bastrop State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
