We overnighted here. Pleasant park with friendly staff. It is clean and well maintained. I-10 access is very good. We would definitely stay here again.

Date of Stay:

We had planned a short stay here and ended up staying a week. This park is quiet, clean and well maintained with attractive grounds. Staff is friendly. We were there in off season so most people there were "residents" which was a mix of young military couples and retirees. There were very few children; there is a pool but no playground. We definitely plan to return for a longer stay.

Date of Stay:

We stayed here overnight. It was very difficult to level and ended up changing sites. Cable was out and too many trees for satellite. Rate, which is too high for what you get, reflects 50 amp and Good Sam discount. Access from interstate was easy.

We stopped here overnight. Rate reflects 50 amp and Good Sam discount. Park appears to be fairly new. There are no trees, sites are gravel. Many sites appear to be permanently occupied. Easy access off the interstate.

This was our second stay in this park. While it has a pool and small play ground, I would not call it family friendly. Both times we have been here it seemed to primarily cater to an older, retired population. TV reception and WiFi are both iffy, best bet for WiFi is the middle of row D in front of the bath house. Because of the trees, TV reception via satellite or antenna is iffy. Rate reflects 30 amp and Good Sam discount.

This is a large, pleasant park with friendly, accommodating staff. It is well maintained. Like most places we stayed this summer we found it to be over priced for what is provided. Our nightly rate reflects 30 amp electric and the Good Sam discount. The first few nights we were here were great; it was quiet, no problem with getting in showers or restrooms. Then came the holiday weekend. Every site was occupied, most had at least two cars at the site, so there were nearly a 1,000 people using the facilities. There are only 4 women showers and toilet facilities and the same number for men. Not near enough for that number of people. While clean, the facilities are old and dated. The women's shower I was in was vented by two small windows and became very steamy very quickly. If we stayed here again, I would make sure we avoided any holidays.

With this park it is all about location, there is no ambiance. The park is really just a parking lot with electric and water hook ups, but the view and convenience more than make up for any thing else. Bringing a big rig in is a little hairy, I checked GPS directions with staff, who emailed the best route. One thing that would have been good to know is distance to the exit, we had a moment of panic thinking we were going to have to find a place to turn around. Getting to the subway, train or ferry into NYC is very easy. There is a good, casual restaurant steps away and an upscale restaurant within walking distance. I felt this was a very safe area. There are also several places that deliver to the park. If you want to take a tour of the city, they will pick you up. Showers and restrooms were clean. We would stay here again.

This was our second stay here, I consider it a park, not a campground. The park has received major awards in the past two years. It is quiet, and while there is a playground and pool, it seems to primarily cater to adults. The sites are wide, level and well maintained. It is hard to not give it a 10. BUT..I had major problems with Wi-Fi, and totally gave up the last day; there were major problems with cable that we should not have had, and needed up having to attach a special box. Park personnel were less than helpful, in fact surly is a better description in dealing with these issues. I do not understand the rationale for $ showers to begin with, these showers have no hooks or shelves, to avoid putting your belongings on the wet floor you must place a plastic stacking chair in an already small space. You have 7 minutes (maybe) to adjust the water temperature and shower before the water runs out. I was willing to overlook much of this and go with a ten until I had to use the laundry. It is stuck in the walk ot basement of the owners house/office. It is dirty and the machines are not in good repair. I expect the ARVC park of the year to be a 10 in all areas.

Date of Stay:

Overpriced and crowded, verging on seedy. My conclusion is that the country western theme was adopted to cover up the lack of maintenance. Staff is less than friendly or helpful. Most sites are seasonal, very few available for transient. I am not sure where the 50 amp sites are, we ended up with 30; we carry several different sized sewer connectors, none of which fit, and we have never seen a water connector like this...the neighbor that showed us how it works said he had never seen one before either. Many, many many kids, lots of traffic and noise. Cable was snowy, and even though our site was open, could not get satellite. Park should not advertise having WiFi, connection was nearly impossible. Would not stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Park has a few full hook up sites, but black water and grey water connections are separate. When we tried to hook up, we could not dump grey water since the connector neck was full. This park has $showers, which is something I have never understood, none the less, we had to use them since we could not dump grey water. I question big rig access to most of this park, the road to our site was up a steep incline and very rough. To leave we had to take a very circuitous route from our site. WiFi reception was spotty. We would keep driving rather than stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Overpriced, overcrowded and unappealing visually (hanging baskets of flowers do not count as landscaping). There is a sharp turn getting into the park, checking in took a long time and staff was not customer oriented. I made reservations and requested site -A128 when we checked in we were assigned A120 which is a big difference. A120 is directly across from the playground and on the corner where all incoming traffic passes. The playground is basically a huge sand box, and given the large number of children, much of it ends up in the shower and restrooms. There were heavy rains while we were there, sites in the lower areas had standing water and lots of mud. Given the effort made to attract families and children cleaning restrooms once a day is not adequate. Also, trash pickup at noon is inadequate, I do not like having dinner trash in the motorhome over night; there are no dumpsters. WiFi was intermittent and cable was snowy, and even though our site was not treed, we had difficulty with satellite. I would not stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Probably one of the nicest parks we have stayed in. Clean, well maintained grounds. Staff very pleasant. Wish our schedule had allowed a longer stay.

This park is a very big park and is more about camping and less about RVs. Most sites are permanent and since we were here on a Saturday night, most were occupied. We were given two sites so we could pull through, but because of trees, turns getting into and out of it were tight. There were two tents on sites next to us, even though there was a tent camping area. The camp map stated there were eight showers but we only found two each for men and women. Wi-Fi is available if you pay for it. We would overnight here again if nothing else was available. Rate reflects Good Sam discount.

Date of Stay:

Rate paid is weekly with Good Sam discount. This is a very large park, convenient to many of the motor home manufacturers and the RV museum. It appears to be an old KOA; shower, restroom and laundry facilities are old but clean. Campground is quiet and well maintained. We would stay here again.

Date of Stay:

There are literally two sides to this park. The side across the creek from the office is where most of the long term sites and the deluxe sites are. It is shaded, mowed and sites are in good shape. The smaller, transient side where we stayed is not as appealing visually. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. We would overnight here again.
