Junction West RV Park, Grand Junction, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Rate includes taxes. We have stayed here several times in the past. The campground continues to provide a pleasant stay. While the surrounding area is light industry, we haven’t noticed offensive noise levels. The W-iFi is a little weak; however we have been able to use it at our site. We would recommend this campground. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nightly rate includes taxes. Ruby's Campground was a very pleasant experience; most of the sites are tucked in around the pines. The Wi-Fi didn't work at our site due the terrain; however, it worked in the laundry room, next to the office. The staff was very pleasant and willing assists the guests. We would recommend this campground to anyone visiting Bryce Canyon. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Alpen Rose RV Park, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is by far the best park we have visited. While the area around Durango is know for its majestic mountains and narrow gauge railroad. The park is situated in Animas River valley pasture land, off-set by red rock clifts. The picture used on the web site does not do this park justice. Staff is outstanding, and the morning all you can breakfast is the best deal around. We camped at Alpen Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.

Kaibab CampeRVillage, Jacob Lake, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2006 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great place to use as a base for visiting the north rim of the Grand Canyon. While it is located 45 miles north of the park, it's the closest campground with FHU. The campground hosts are very friendly and willing to give additional hints on sights in the area. We loved staying in a wooded area, smelling the pine scented air. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Motorhome.

Settler's RV Park (CLOSED), St George, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2006 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I rate this park as an "Overnight" stop. Numerous long term sites, some in bad need of repair and clean-up. On the positive side, the location is good for local services. We camped at Settler's RV Park (CLOSED) in a Motorhome.
