Camping Lido 2002, Saint-Antonin, Quebec

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Have used this park 3 times now, as an overnight stay only. Mostly seasonal sites. The office staff were teenagers, with little or no English, and on the last stay we followed one to the site and she did not know where she was going and drove us all over the park. Twice we were unable to make the turn as we were too long (towing) with parked cars or turn was too tight. She did apologize but this did not make us too happy at the end of a long day. Had to change sites because of this. Pool was nice - with a lifeguard. Not the most friendliest of parks. We camped at Camping Lido 2002 in a Motorhome.

Great Falls KOA, Great Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $73.00
Overall Rating:

We were 'given' a Deluxe site because we were told we were too long for the original site - as mentioned in previous reviews deluxe sites are in the open and very poorly maintained. There is a drought in Montana so not surprising - but something could have been done about the weeds and dry brush - not very appealing that's for sure. We were looking forward to a swim and it turned out to be a children's water park - not really for adults though we did stay and tried out the water slides! Firewood is free. Easy in and out, free entertainment at night and a nice breakfast available in the morning. We camped at Great Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Jamestown Campground, Jamestown, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $36.00

The manager took us to our site by bicycle - very friendly gentleman. We had a nice end site near the dog walk. This park has a lovely walking area around the property, especially nice for our dog. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Motorhome.

Eagle Valley Park Campground, Maple Creek, Saskatchewan

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is the first time we have stayed in a campground that you just pulled into, similar to parallel parking. The electric and water was on one side while the sewer was on the other, which made for a more difficult hookup. On the other hand, we were not near any other campers. We thought about taking a swim but there was a fee of $5.00 so decided against it. The campground was easy access from HWY 1 so convenient for an overnight stay. We camped at Eagle Valley Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Indian Head Campground (formerly Indian Head KOA), Indian Head, Saskatchewan

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Very helpful check-in. We were brought to our site and the hostess stayed to make sure our satellite dish worked in the spot and was willing to show us to another spot if it didn't. We were near a large field that our dog enjoyed running and playing in. It was an easy walk to the town (though most stores seemed to be closed on Mondays). The sites are very long and could have easily accommodated 2 motorhomes! Would be a lovely place to stay for a longer period - we were only there overnight. We camped at Indian Head Campground (formerly Indian Head KOA) in a Motorhome.

Jamestown Campground, Jamestown, North Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Arrived here during a downpour and was met by a cheery sunny welcome from our hostess! Everything was ready for us to make the registration easy (we had only reserved the previous day and glad we did, as the campground is pretty full). She then brought us to our site on her bicycle! All sites are pull-through, which made our stay easy for an overnighter. We used our 'MS Streets and Trips" and "Magellen" GPS and had no problems with directions, though we had been given them over the phone when we made our reservation just in case. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Motorhome.

Mountain View RV Park, Boise, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We spent 3 nights here while visiting with relatives in Boise. We were in site 30 which was easy to enter and exit in our motorhome with tow. The site was wide with some shade. It is very close to the freeway, and airport, while this made for easy access to town and shopping, it was very noisy. This is the only RV park within the Boise city limit which is why we chose it. No dog area except for a dried up field across the street in an industrial park. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

St Petersburg / Madeira Beach KOA, St. Petersburg, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 5 days, and thought we were staying in a ghost town! The sites looked like they had not been looked after or the mini homes lived in, for years. Front desk staff were accommodating, allowing us to move when we could not get our satellite to work due to trees obstructing it. We were surprised to have to pay for Wi-Fi; this was the first KOA where this had happened. This is a very tired campsite and did not seem to live up to the KOA reputation. We would look for alternatives if ever in the area again. We camped at St Petersburg / Madeira Beach KOA in a Motorhome.

Holbrook / Petrified Forest KOA, Holbrook, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here over night in site 47. We arrived early enough to explore the town and enjoy a swim before heading to the cookout for a lovely steak dinner. This was one of the few campsites that we stopped at during our 3 month trip that had an option for dinner and a chance to meet other campers in a social setting, which we quite enjoyed. We also took advantage of the pancake breakfast early in the morning before hitting the road again which was a nice change (no dishes to do before leaving!). We would stay here again. We camped at Holbrook / Petrified Forest KOA in a Motorhome.
