This is the second time we stayed at this park. I agree that the price is just too much for what they offer. Most all sites are gravel and some are very sloped. It was difficult for us to level our motor home since we didn't have self-leveling. The sites are very small. The stream side is nice, but the best stream is in the back of the campgrounds, not the front. The pool and store are very nice. The restrooms were clean. The staff was attentive. It is a 20 minute drive to Gatlinburg. Take advantage of the location for easy access to Smokey Mountain National Park. Cosby and Big Creek are very close. It is a nice place over all, but too tight and expensive.

This is our favorite of the Myrtle area campgrounds. The only reason it doesn't score a 10 is the lack of paved roads. This causes dust clouds that can be annoying. Our preference is to camp along the lake front in the beach area. It's still an easy walk to the ocean, but the sites are bigger and grassy. This is also very close to the pool and amenities. Hwy 22 bypass makes accessing this park convenient. Golf is across the street. Major shopping outlets are within 2 miles. Only property owners can use golf carts.
