Texas Rose RV Park, Tyler, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This park looks pretty rough, the layout is incredibly confusing. All of the spots are in a circle, so if you have a larger camper I probably would not recommend staying here. Especially if it's busy, lucky for us there weren't a lot of people. That said, it wasn't the worst place to stay. It is noisy, being so close to the interstate, but we figured it would be. The owners were very very kind. They were accommodating and checked to see how our night was the following morning. They provide free coffee and donuts in the morning, which is great! For $20/night, I can't complain too much! We camped at Texas Rose RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Eagles Landing RV Park, Holt, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

I can't say enough good things about Eagle's Landing. The owner's were very pleasant! It was a small park, but the spaces were very large. It was quiet and an incredible clean park, lawns were kept nice, and the bathrooms were spotless! You can tell the park is very well taken care of and I would absolutely stay there again if I was in the area. We camped at Eagles Landing RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Forsyth KOA, Forsyth, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for one night, and had problems the second we turned into the park. The sharp turn ended up with the bed of the truck scratching the front of the camper. The pull thru spots were horribly uneven, and the showers were pretty rough looking. We had problems pulling out in the morning, as the way they told us to go was another ridiculously sharp turn. There was no way we were going to get out that way, so we had to drive around until we could find a way to exit the park. If we ever find ourselves in Forsyth again, we will just keep driving and find another park. We camped at Forsyth KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Northlake RV Resort, Houston, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at a lot of RV parks, and this is definitely the nicest place we have stayed. The park is immaculate, the laundry room is nicer than my own at home. They have a recreation room with exercise equipment, pool table, vending machines, popcorn machine, direct TV and a computer room. A plus, was the side gate leading to The Potato Patch, a pretty decent restaurant. We stayed for about a month while my husband was working in Houston. The spaces were concrete, which was great. Maybe a little small (33' travel trailer and a service truck did not fit in the space), but that wasn't exactly a deal breaker. My only complaint was getting in to the space. Everyone parks on the street, so it was difficult to maneuver into our spot without hitting someone's car. We camped at Northlake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The Woods RV Park and Campground LLC, Montgomery, Alabama

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The staff is very nice, the spaces are very big and have plenty of room on both sides. The laundry room is small and gets really hot, but it gets the job done. Overall this campground is really great. However, the location is not. The area is not the safest (the gas station next door gets robbed about twice a month). If you're just staying the night, then it shouldn't be a problem. We camped at The Woods RV Park and Campground LLC in a Travel Trailer.

Cloverdale RV Park, Cloverdale, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for over a year (because of my husband's job). The second we got there we could tell that the woman who owns it did NOT like us, and she picked on us for the tiniest things. The water smells awful, the pond is disgusting, and there are dead bugs covering the bathroom floor. The entry road was extremely narrow. The owner's have several large dogs that they just let wander around, and of course mess all over the place. We were told to "pick up after our dog", when in fact it was their dog leaving the mess. Do yourself a favor and stay at another RV park. We camped at Cloverdale RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Brigham City / Perry South KOA, Brigham City, Utah

Date of Stay: January, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Spaces were incredibly small, but it was fine if you're staying a night or 2. We stayed for several months (thanks to husband's job). Overall, we weren't too impressed. Especially with the owner. We camped at Brigham City / Perry South KOA in a Travel Trailer.
