Turtle Rock RV Resort, Gold Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here as we drove down the coast with 2 friends. The park was just off the 101. We had 3 pull thru sites, close together. We were near the bathhouse and laundry. We used both of them. We stayed here for one night and enjoyed being able to take the path to the beach. We walked down to the beach twice, once during the day and once for sunset. Our sites were gravel and grass. We camped at Turtle Rock RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Crooked River Ranch RV Park, Crooked River Ranch, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Crooked River Ranch RV is very clean, well maintained and has great staff. It is a bit off the beaten path, but we explored the area and enjoyed the sites. We stayed 2 nights with our caravan group. They allowed us to use a covered pavilion for a dinner. All of us had gravel back in sites. We had a large grass area behind our sites and it offered some nice shade! We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Shoreline is very clean, well maintained and has great staff. It is a wonderful location is you want to visit Eureka. The new paved Shoreline Trail is right there. The Mill Casino RV Park, North Bend, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here with our RV caravan group as our final stop on our 38-day caravan. It was the perfect place to stay as we culminated our adventure. The sites we had were all pull-thru with concrete and picnic tables. Most of us faced the water. There is a shuttle that runs you to the Casino and hotel. We used it as a base camp to explore the Oregon coast. The office staff was friendly and helpful. They even gave us a coupon for some free play. It was an excellent place to stay. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lightner Creek Campground, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We picked this campground, because we were looking for shade and closer to Durango than the place we stayed in Bayfield. We are ecstatic that we found this place! The new owner, as of December 2107, takes great pride in her campground. She is working hard to make improvements, but change does not happen overnight. We got a gravel pull thru site for 4 nights. The bath house is excellent and well maintained. The roads are easy to negotiate. We had several local stations with antenna, and although we were warned that the box canyon would affect our cell and internet, we got Verizon coverage ok. They do offer free wi-fi, by the office. The campground is about 5 minutes from downtown Durango and we went there everyday, Can't wait to see what has improved, by the next time we visit! They believe in their rules and review them with you on check-in. I am okay with that, as long as rules are for everyone and they were! We camped at Lightner Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Ponderosa Campground, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We were on a caravan when we stayed here. Our dawn patrol helped to assign spots. Our group was pretty close together, but we were not in the "pull-thru" area ... we all had back in sites. Our rigs range in size from 45' to 24' ... the big rigs had some issues getting into their spots, but we were OK, since we are 31'. However, our site was on a weird angle, with water & Electric on the wrong side and not enough room to park out vehicle on our site. we had to park in the overflow area. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were close enough to a few attractions, that we could walk. We camped at Ponderosa Campground in a Motorhome.

Monument RV Resort, Fruita, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We had 3 nights of reservation and called at the last minute to add a 4th night. Their full hook-up sites were all full for our extra night, but they had a W/E site for our first night, the extra night. The owners are wonderful and their staff are friendly, attentive, and care very much about the quality of their resort. We watched ther maintenance guy, stop and pick up trash or dog poop, or pull stray weeds. Monument RV park is clean, well cared for, and has all the amenities you could ask for, showers, laundry, a pool and hot tub, BBQ grill, fast wifi. The location is only a couple of miles from the entrance to the Colorado National Monument and just across the bridge from Fruita. We stayed 4 nights in a motorhome towing a car and when in the area, we will stay here again! We camped at Monument RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Antelope Valley RV Park, Delta, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for an overnight, as we crossed Utah on Route 50. We were able to get a pull-thru, since we did not want to unhook our towed. Dirt, some concrete and grass. Asphalt roadways. The office staff was very nice and helpful. The wind was whipping, so we just stayed inside the RV and relaxed. All was good, until we went to bed around 11 pm and our neighbor, 2 spaces down (in a park model on space 59) kept coming outside and talking loudly. Our neighbors did this about 3 times throughout the night, they were loud enough to wake us up each time. Not a restful night! They were even louder than the road noise from Route 50. We camped at Antelope Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Diamond Lake RV Park, Diamond Lake, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here on our 38 day Northwest Caravan. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The check in process was simple and they guided us to our sites. We had a back in and a separate place to park our vehicle. Our group was close together and we sat outside each night and enjoyed the mild weather! Phone coverage was spotty, but OK. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Our site was on the end of the row, what a view! We were close to the dog park and our site had some shade. The staff was friendly and helpful! Roads and sites were gravel. The end site had some grass. Overall, it was a very good campground for our 2 nites. We camped at Ely KOA in a Motorhome.

Redding RV Park, Redding, California

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

The staff was friendly and helpful. The park and facilities are well maintained. We came with a friend and we were able to be parked next to each other. Pull thru sites are level, paved and long! Only down side is too many other campers walk between your camper and your neighbor's camper, instead of going around. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Motorhome.

Deer Park Campground, Buffalo, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here with our caravan group for 2 nights, we were traveling with 16 rigs. Each rig was escorted to their sites by the owners. The campground owners and workers were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The showers and rest rooms were clean. Some of our group had pull-thrus, pull-ins or back-ins. We were all close together. We had ample space to host gatherings by a few of our sites. We all enjoyed the nightly ice cream! The sites were gravel and grass. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch (formerly Flagg Ranch Resort), Moran, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here with our caravan group for 3 nights. There was a large parking lot behind the lodge, that we could stage our 16 rigs in, before we moved them to their sites. We stayed here while we toured Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. This campground was well laid out to provided large sites with lots of space between sites and trees. The sites are dirt, but are over sized, level, long & wide. The roads were a bit confusing, but once you had been around once, it was easier to understand. The trees were all nicely trimmed and the grounds were well-kept. The campground workers were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We camped at Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch (formerly Flagg Ranch Resort) in a Motorhome.

Squaw Rock Resort, Naches, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here with our RV caravan group as part of our 38-day caravan. The office staff was friendly and helpful. Most of us had sites along the river. They were W/E sites, but we were only there for 2 nights. We stayed here, because it has easy access to Mt Rainier. You are in a valley and cell service, internet and TV are non existent. But it is a beautiful area. The heated pool was nice and there was access to the river. Plenty of trees, hence the reason there is not much grass. We camped at Squaw Rock Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here with our caravan group. 4 of our rigs were over 40" and could not stay there. All the remainder of our group had gravel pull thru sites close together.
