Spencers RV Park, Paris, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I was a little reluctant when we made the reservation, since there was not many reviews on the web. We were pleasantly surprised! The owners are very friendly, the rate was acceptable and it was easy in and easy out. The sites are concrete and level, but the roads are dirt. We were escorted to our site. The neighbors were close and friendly. We would stay here again as an overnight stop! We camped at Spencers RV Park in a Motorhome.

Travelers World Campground, Clovis, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The park was right off the two lane highway. It was easy to access and the pull-thru sites were plenty long. The office staff was very helpful and friendly. We left a message before they were open, and the called us back during office hours. There is a train behind the campground, it comes thru a few times, but does not blow a whistle.

My only complaint is: their rule #7 is dogs must be on a leash. There was a Chihuahua and a brown and black dog that ran loose the whole afternoon and evening. It was evident they were loose often, by the amount of poop on our site. Partially the campground's fault, but mostly the inconsiderate dog owner! We camped at Travelers World Campground in a Motorhome.

Little Creel Resort, Chama, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at the park for two nights. We were there to ride the train and for Chama Days. The owners are new and very accommodating. We were welcomed warmly, guided to our site and provided all information we needed. The roads are mostly gravel. The Rec Hall is beautiful and very comfortable. We would stay here again. We camped at Little Creel Resort in a Motorhome.

Big rig friendly! Nice sized pull-thru sites. On a hill, with beautiful views! Restrooms and showers were immaculate and well maintained. Nice sized clubhouse. Store with a few necessities and souvenir items. We would stay again, when we are in the area. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

The park was spotless and well maintained. All the sites are paved, with rocks and small trees in between. Once the tress grow, they will offer some nice shade. There is a shuttle to the office, hotel pool and other amenities. Great place to stay, if you are taking the train to the Grand Canyon. We would stay here again. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hagerstown / Antietam Battlefield KOA, Williamsport, Maryland

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

A bit "off the road" to get to it, but worth the drive. Great people, sites and amenities. Enjoyed the campgrounds. Our site was "below" a few of the cabins, so when they were outside, it was like they were right outside our back door. Office staff was very helpful. Might stay again, for a longer period. Just too far off the road for an overnight stay. We camped at Hagerstown / Antietam Battlefield KOA in a Truck Camper.

Lake Lanier Islands Campground, Buford, Georgia

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to get "back to nature!" We saw countless deer and enjoyed the quietness of the campground. Sites were spread apart, so not to be on top of your neighbor. Only some loops have a restroom facility ... be sure you know if your loop does! Would stay again! Camped on 82 and was happy, but would select another site next time. We picked out a few for future trips! We camped at Lake Lanier Islands Campground in a Truck Camper.

Majestic Oaks, Zephyrhills, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Park is extremely clean! Sites are large and there are no trees with moss hanging over your camper. They are close to everything, but far enough away! Great place to relax and get away ... we are coming back to stay longer this winter, excited about the park activities! We camped at Majestic Oaks in a Truck Camper.
