Love this park. It is very clean, cheerful and the facilities like the laundry room were in good repair. Easy access off the freeway, close to shopping and restaurants. I would stay here again. We camped at Desert's Edge RV Village in a Motorhome.

Phoenix Metro RV Park (55+ park), Phoenix, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The staff here was very friendly as they accommodated our late check in. This isn't really what I would consider an RV park. It is 90% long term park models of varying age and condition. We were placed in a spot that was essentially a gravel patch with no shade, no pad, and no table. It's disappointing that they are able to call themselves an RV park. We camped at Phoenix Metro RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Dallas / Arlington KOA, Arlington, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Nestled back in the trees off a busy street. Very tight entrance for big rigs through a narrow iron fence. We stayed here for 4 nights. Close to many eateries and shopping areas and convenient to our destination: Cowboy Stadium. The bathrooms were very clean but flooded and a mess on our second night. This was taken care of in about 24 hours. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this well kept park. We camped at Dallas / Arlington KOA in a Motorhome.

Rocking A RV Park, Vernon, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Not a very scenic park, but convenient off the freeway for an overnight stay. Noise was not an issue. WalMart next door stays lit up all night, but makes shopping easy. Bathrooms very clean, with spacious showers. We camped at Rocking A RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had a site along the facing street and it was very noisy with road traffic. Wireless Internet was nearly impossible to get on. The signal was very weak. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

Golden Eagle Ranch RV Park & Campground, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Greeted by extremely nice person checking us in. Didn't appreciate extra charges to run the a/c. In the same breath we were told they were on water conservation so laundry room was closed! And the only spot for wireless Internet was in the laundry room. Stayed the course and tried to find a suitable spot for our 40 ft coach with no help from the staff. Sharp uphill turns to get to the RV area. Rutted out sites, very unlevel and complete dustbowl. We loved the location of this park, but it is in desperate need of attention. Great potential. We left without even trying to get a refund. Clearly they need the money more than we do. Just hope they use it to fix up this park. We camped at Golden Eagle Ranch RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This was a great park! Love the location nestled out of the way among big trees. The sites are all gravel but it's the nice kind that doesn't make dust. We used the showers. They were clean but cramped with very poor shower head and the drainage needs a little work. Awesome Saturday night ice cream social! Everyone was very friendly. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pony Express RV Resort, North Salt Lake, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice and clean park. Fairly close to the freeway but surprisingly not noisy. Strange smell in the air. Noted several different plants in the distance that could be responsible. Close to an excellent paved biking/running/walking trail. Staff was very friendly. We camped at Pony Express RV Resort in a Motorhome.

AB Camping & RV Park, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This park had everything we needed for one night stay. There is a front area of the park that looks more pleasant than the back (where we stayed). View of a run down neighborhood and incessant dog barking into the night. The office is a terrible first impression, bad odor and dirty. The biggest surprise was their on-site BBQ dinner. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food tasted. As we exited the park, we drove by garages, storage areas that looked unkempt and cluttered. This park would be better if it were cleaned up. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Motorhome.
