Granite Corner RV Park, Walden, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a brand new park and we were the first campers. It is small and cozy in a quiet part of town. The owners were wonderful and a lot of fun. Walden is just a gorgeous place to stay. The wildlife and views are amazing. We stayed two nights in a site with plenty of room. If arriving on Hwy 14, turn right at first stop sign. Granite corners is on the left. The address is 580 G Street. If arriving on Hwy 125, which joins 14 on the East side of town, turn right at the Conoco which is CR 12. Continue to the Stop sign. Granite Corners is one block down on the left. We camped at Granite Corner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Circle The Wagons RV Park , La Veta, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We went to La Veta for a century bike ride and stayed at Circle the Wagons. The park was spotless and the showers and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. But the best part was the owners. This couple went out of their way to make an accommodation for us that not many RV park owners would tackle. We loved this place, the town and the scenery. Would definitely return. We camped at Circle The Wagons RV Park in a Motorhome.

Riverside City Park, Scottsbluff, Nebraska

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We spent a quick night here on our way home. Only 2 other RVs were there that night. It is right next to the zoo and the North Platte River. It is simple, but clean and nice. The campground hosts were very friendly and helpful. There are 2 big areas to walk the dogs. There is no cable, but good wi-fi. We camped at Riverside City Park in a Motorhome.

We were way ahead of the tourists so had the camp to ourselves. It was exceptionally clean and well laid out. The owners were wonderfully friendly and helpful. It is very close to Mt. Rushmore and all of the other great Custer State Park areas. We camped at Kemp's Kamp in a Motorhome.

Leadville RV Corral, Leadville, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very tight park with no shade. Across from a bar that was pretty noisy into the night. Easy walk to the streets of Leadville. Not one of our favorites. We camped at Leadville RV Corral in a Motorhome.

We were checked in by the founder's granddaughter who was very efficient and provided great customer service. Our reserved spot was still full so she showed us around and gave us the choice of spots. Very dog friendly. Ice Cream every day at 6:30pm. Loved it! We camped at Sugar Loafin' RV Campground & Cabins in a Motorhome.
