Sac West RV Park and Campground, West Sacramento, California

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $63.00
Overall Rating:

This is a former KOA and a very old park. There has been little or no improvements made to the spots. They are gravel with no grass. The tree limbs are low and we hit the side and roof of our Motorhome. They are so close to the next spot that you can not put out an awning without hitting a tree limb. There are several permanent residents. They really need to update the water and power hook-ups too. It is a good short stay location. Lots of cabins and tent area with lots of things for kids to do. We camped at Sac West RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Fidalgo Bay Resort, Anacortes, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

This park is right on the water and close to town. The Wi-Fi worked great as did the cable. The park has several waterfront spots with beautiful views. The rest of the park is just a row back from the water. The staff is friendly and helpful. The spots were long enough and wide enough for our 43' coach with 4 slide outs, and the tow car. I would not hesitate to come back to this place and stay longer. We camped at Fidalgo Bay Resort in a Motorhome.

There is a ferry just up the road that goes to the San Juan Islands. There are parks and towns to explore so you never run out of things to do.

Valley View RV Park, Island Park, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

I wish I had read the reviews before making the reservation. The office is a laundry mat. The woman in the office is the worst part of the entire park. She appears to be a miserable. unhelpful. nasty person. I got very sick after 9 days and we had to leave for home before our 14 nights that we had reserved. They collect payment on arrival by check or cash and give NO REFUNDS. It's not like they lost anything - they had our spot filled the day after we left. You could not sit out at all while there because of the biting flies and mosquitoes. There were no amenities, no pool, no cable, and very spotty Wi-Fi. I would never go back there and would never recommend the place to anyone, We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone is 20 miles away. Unless you fish or ride quads there is not much to do once you have seen Yellowstone.

Horn Rapids RV Resort, Richland, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

The staff are friendly and helpful. The park is clean, as are all the facilities. They have a lovely pool, shuffleboard, and things to do in the park. The problem they have is the same as almost every park we have been in - lousy Wi-Fi. It is slow and sometimes it just stops. Also the cable - they said you need to pay for a receiver, which we did not, we have Direct TV. Everything else was wonderful. This is our 2nd time here and we would come back again. We had a tow car and had plenty of room. We camped at Horn Rapids RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Cooperstown KOA, Richfield Springs, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park setting. It is close to Cooperstown, yet you feel you are way out in the country. The owners are VERY nice and helpful. The sites are wide and long enough we could keep the tow car hooked up. There are firepits at each site, and it was comfortable to sit out in the evening. The pool is clean and open until dark. We only stayed 2 nights, but would definitely recommend this park to others and would stay again when in the area. We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Motorhome.

Meredith Woods, Meredith, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This park is convenient to the highway and the sites are very wide - but that's where the good things end. Meridith Woods is really in the woods. The sites are surrounded by tall trees - ours was so dark it was hard to tell when it was daylight. We could not sit outside more than 5 minutes without being eaten by mosquitoes as big as horseflies. My brother came by to see our Motorhome since he had never seen it. He had to pay $8.00 for him and my sister-in-law to get in the park. All visitors have to pay 4.00 per person, even if they are not staying long. There are a lot of rules in this park that I have never seen in other parks, We traveled from the West Coast to here and stayed in a lot of parks. The washers and dryers (there are only 2) are old and they smell - your clothes smell worse after washing them than they did before. I would not recommend this park for more than just an over nite. We will not stay again. We camped at Meredith Woods in a Motorhome.

Durango RV Resort, Red Bluff, California

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This park is spotless and the staff are extremely welcoming. We had a problem with our windshield and we did not have a car and the staff offered to take us to get the parts we needed and loaned us a ladder to to fix it. The park is walking distance to restaurants, drug store, grocery store, nail & hair salon. The spaces are large and flat. The pool is beautiful and the walk along the river is a bonus. I can't say enough good things about this park. We will definitely be back, only not in mid-August. The only complaint - It was 103 degrees, and there was nothing the staff could do about that. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.
