Love this campground. Greeted with a complimentary ice cream and friendly person. Nice long sites with a grassy area and our own BBQ grill. Plenty to see in the area. Very peaceful setting and a very well cared for campground. God willing, we will return in the future.

Third visit here so that speaks for our feelings about this park. It was jam packed on labor day weekend but after that was very pleasant. Restrooms private and clean, plus nice laundry facilities on site. A tad pricey during the Sturgis rally but I guess it is that supply and demand thing. We will be back God willing.

Newer section better than the older section. Roads were very narrow. Hook ups were fine. Cable was good. Home to many transient workers but they were well behaved. Campsite might have been a problem in rainy weather as it was low. Nice view of river within a short walking distance. We would stay again. Grass could use a mowing.

Our second stop here this year. Once on the way going west and now returning home. Sites very nice with trees. Some dropping acorns/walnuts in the fall. Hookups great. Close to shopping and gas. First stop, we were able to get all the cable stations by putting a $50 deposit on a box. It was refunded when we left. This stop no box and only four regular stations. Good Verizon. We will stop here next trip out.

Very nice park. Easy in/out. Level sites. Surprisingly quiet for being so close to the interstate. Very nice ice cream social each night. Perfect place for a one or two night stay. The grounds are kept spotlessly clean too. Other KOA campgrounds should learn from this one.

Many good things to say about this campground. This is our third visit and won't be our last, God willing. Sites very nice with plenty of room and good hook ups. Nice dog park and fun ice cream socials. The wildlife is almost tame and lots of fun to watch, it is a little far from town, I would love to see cable on all sites. But the pros outweigh the cons and we love it here.

Very basic campground. No amenities but reasonably priced. Sites were roomy enough. Level parking with good hook ups. Call ahead as this is a small campground and it was full each night that we were there. Central to a lot of interesting sights. See the pueblo when you visit. We will revisit this campground.

Spaces are large and level. Hook ups fine. No grass but you are in NM and water is scarce. Good dog park that was in constant use. If you hike down in the arroyo next to the campground there is a sand filled car. Must be a story there. No dog enclosures permitted but other things against the rules are tolerated. The couple near us had a canopy and clothes rack outside.

Arrived to be assigned a spot ( number 35) next to the store/office. Low branches made entering the site very difficult. There were many scrape marks on many of the branches. You are asked to sign a release when arriving. Sites are level and hookups fine but sites alternate entry points making your door facing the next camper. Just a little more than a picnic table width between campers. Not enough to enjoy any outdoor time. The dog park was nice but far away from most campers and on rainy days required a drive. Laundry was very nice, pool was available but not used while we were there. Too tight for my tastes so if it is for just overnight it is doable but for longer stays go to plan B.

Mixed feelings about this park. The sites are very close together. We set up our small dog enclosure, which we only use while we are with the dogs. Left to go to the store and got a call from the office and was told to remove it immediately. Told them we would as soon as we got back, which we did. The park is clean and kept nice by a squad of golf cart mounted 'enforcers'. The morning continental breakfast was OK. Cereal, coffee, bagels ( not always fresh ) and hardboiled eggs or yogurt. The staff generally didn't seem pleased to be working here. There was a dog park which we used, although most folks used the small patches of grass at the ends of the rows. Not all of them cleaned up, which made it necessary to watch where you walked. The park was polluted with sand spurs which we were constantly pulling out of the dog's paws. If you can find another park, I would suggest that you go there. We will next time.

Something about this park keeps drawing us back. The sites along the river are mesmerizing. Don't follow GPS but do follow their directions. Surrounding area is bad for things to do and feel comfortable doing them but we will continue to stop here when in the area.

Pretty close to an ideal setting/park. The owners are very nice and understand the needs of their customers. The sites are laid out well and even though gravel very nice even for big rigs. On the weekends it gets a bit crowded with families and seasonals coming in but that is because everyone loves coming here. Verizon air card didn't work well and was only 3 G. Cable TV missing Fox News but livable. Our sixth visit here and it won't be the last.

Very nice camp ground with many plusses. Paved access roads, level sites, lots of space between rows of campsites, great Verizon signal, plenty of dog walking areas etc. The only changes that we would suggest are lower sewer connections a tad and put on screw in connectors. Also a bath house up in the plateau area would be super.

Great campground with nice pull-through sites. All was fine until the last night that we were there and the people in the sites near ours ( seasonal ) spent hours pressure washing their trucks, campers, and awnings. Really ruined our last evening there. Also not many full hook up sites results in many campers crowded together. It was convenient to town and ferry docks. Can't have everything!

Fine campground. We enjoyed our stay. Quiet with a minimum of noise. Water hookups a tad far and inner roads could have been a bit wider but that is nitpicking. The price was right and it is on our list of campgrounds to revisit. Bring cash or checkbook as they don't take credit cards but we knew that going in. Showers were in private individual rooms which was very nice as you had plenty of room to put your 'stuff'.
