Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground, Bryce Canyon, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Great place for our young grandkids with plenty to do within the expansive Ruby's facility: swimming pool, shops, play area, restaurants, big camp store, rodeo, Western show.

Great base camp for Bryce Canyon of course, but also for Zion--only about an hour away. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Right at the entrance to Bryce Canyon. Even a shuttle stop for visiting Bryce.

Rodeo was fun. Two of our grandsons rode bucking calves and even got $3.00 "prizes."

Western dinner show was enjoyable for the whole family.

Spruce Lake RV Resort, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $97.00
Overall Rating:

Have stayed here several times a year over the last few years. Has all the qualities I want: level sites, WiFi, cable TV, fishing pond, swimming pool, hot tub, playground for the grand-kids, event center, weekend events, and great staff. We tried several campgrounds at Estes Park several years ago and none compare. We camped at Spruce Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Estes Park is a great little touristy town.

One entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is about one mile from campground.

Spruce Lake RV Resort, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Had three great long weekends here in 2011. Beautiful river flowing by. Fun fishing pond. Limited trees in campground. Fantastic staff, always 2-3 people in the office to help. Maintenance guy was really helpful. Pancake breakfast on weekends. Nightly campfire. Nice pool and great hot tub. We'll go back every summer. We camped at Spruce Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Elk Meadow Lodge & RV Resort, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are not level. Restaurant closed now. Wi-Fi completely worthless. Rodents throughout campground. Very few trees. Never could find a dog area. Roads very rough. Seems that some tent sites were occupied by undesirable transients. On the up side: Estes Park is fantastic. The campground is near entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. We camped at Elk Meadow Lodge & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
