Buffalo Bill State Park, Wapiti, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

This review is on the North Fork section of the park. We did not stay in the North Bluff section of the park. This park has no hookups but is a great place to boondock very reasonably considering the area is next to Yellowstone National Park. This park is very well maintained with asphalt sites and roads. Very clean. We camped at Buffalo Bill State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cost is actually 10.70 per night with 30 amp service. No electric is 8.00. This is a bare bones park but great for overnighting while traveling through the area. Pull in, set up and a park attendant will come through in the evening to collect site fee. Would stay here again. We camped at Chief Joseph Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sundance RV Park and Campground, Coram, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Management is friendly. Restrooms and laundry maintained very well. Campground is very reasonably priced for the area. Vehicle washing is permitted. Biggest drawback to the campground is no sewer hookup and gravel roads, very dusty when someone drives by your site. They do have a dump station available. Would stay here again. We camped at Sundance RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

La Pine State Park, La Pine, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Sites on middle loop only have 20 amp service. With big rigs (we have a 43' 5ver) be prepared to get out and move tree limbs so as not to tear off antennas and such. Tight area to drive in but doable. Staff was friendly. We camped at La Pine State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
