Goulding's Lodge & Campground, Oljato-Monument Valley, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Campground was very dusty with red dirt everywhere. It could definitely use more gravel. Lots of the sites were not level. We were lucky and got one where we could level the coach. We stayed a week, probably about 4 days to many. Restaurant belonging to the campground was the worst experience we have had at a restaurant in recent years. Scenery is beautiful. We were in site 22. Verizon phone service with 2 bars but no internet. T-Mobile phone service but no internet. We camped at Goulding's Lodge & Campground in a Motorhome.

Twin Falls / Jerome KOA, Jerome, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Construction all day just feet from camping spaces. No offer of discount because of noise or dust. Had to drug my dogs because noise was so loud and so close. Not advised of necessity to make a detour to enter park because of construction. Spaces are tight. Rig on our left side was so close his awning was only 3-4 inches from our slide out. This park is not big rig friendly. There are tight turns and small spaces. Would not stay here again. Best sites were in the back of the park with only water and electric. We camped at Twin Falls / Jerome KOA in a Motorhome.

Great Falls KOA, Great Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $73.00
Overall Rating:

We thought we were getting a deluxe pull-through site. What we got was a site with weeds, no cable and no Wi-Fi. One of the worst KOA's we have ever encountered. No garbage dumpsters nearby. Would not go to Great Falls again if this was the only option. We camped at Great Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Shadow Hills RV Resort, Indio, California

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Made reservations for 2 nights, arrived to find out they had no room for us and wanted us to camp in a field which was actually a dried out retention pond. They refused to refund our $135.00 because we would not stay. We are still trying to get a refund. Very tight spacing. We camped at Shadow Hills RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Corning RV Park, Corning, California

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Sites were level and there were trees. Nicely spaced. Had a fenced dog area. The biggest problem for us was lots of permanent residents who did not clean up after their pets. There was even dog poop right outside our door. Lots of freeway noise. We camped at Corning RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mesa Campground, Gunnison, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are close together, but fairly level. Most sites are gravel, some have concrete patio. Very few pull-thrus. Very dusty. There are lots of semi-permanent residents. Office staff very helpful. Dog park is part of a ditch off to the side of a major hwy (US 50). No trash can to put doggy waste available nearby and only one dumpster in entire park. Excellent Wi-Fi available. We camped at Mesa Campground in a Motorhome.

Missoula KOA, Missoula, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

It's been a few years since we stayed at this campground. They have done some major improvements. Grounds are clean and well groomed. I would guess their is new management in place. Very helpful. I confused the date on my reservation and they were very gracious to find me a spot. Will definitely be back here again. We camped at Missoula KOA in a Motorhome.

We only spent one night here. Sewer connection was at end of site and difficult if not impossible to level coach at this spot. Children under 14 could not even leave the campsite without and adult. Was told could not even wash windshield at site. Will not be returning here. We camped at Bear Canyon Campground in a Motorhome.
