Great place, convenient to wineries. Friendly staff, easy access from the interstate. Noise from interstate is minimal. We will definitely stay here again

For DOD/Military employees/retirees ONLY. 7 Sites. Great place for overnight stay. No amenities except for full hookups which worked well. Sites are level and paved but close together, easy access back-in sites. Restroom and Showers are not available. Some airport noise but not bad, otherwise very quite and safe (inside base). We would definitely stay here again

Nice clean park near the biking path and the river. Some train noise but nothing like previous reviews stated. Although close to the freeway, no noise noted. Would definitely stay here again. Rafting, zip line adventures available also The only negative we see is the extra pet charge of $5 per pet and there are not specific pet areas. This is the same park as Rock Garden RV park listed on some sites.

Just returned from a stay here. Would definitely stay here again. Some road noise but not intolerable, they are widening the road and changing access to the park. They are definitely kid and pet friendly. The park was clean, grass was mowed. Nice place. There are 2 restroom shower facilities not just one as mentioned earlier.

Pros: Full hookups w/50 amp, easy access to I-15, nice commissary, dog park, friendly host. Cons: Difficult to contact campground manager, sand burrs, sites very close together. The sites in the older section of the famcamp are very close together, are not paved but do have trees. There appear to be some full-time residents. The newer section has concrete pads with picnic tables between each site but no trees. In almost all sites a water connection must be shared with the next campsite. The numbering process in the newer section is very confusing. The campground is tight but it is possible to maneuver a large rig. I would recommend disconnecting the towed vehicle if you have one, prior to entering the base. There is a large dog park which is fenced and has several benches. Your dogs can safely run free here and tend to business and play. The grounds themselves are not well cared for and this lack of caring shows in the weeds and sandspurs which are everywhere. Pictures in above web site are from 2006, better condition then than now. Reservations are supposed to be available for this famcamp and from my experience are needed. A telephone number and email are provided on the website. However, I have found that emails and telephone calls are not usually returned. The office is only manned from Wednesday through Sunday from 8:00AM-10:00AM and from 1:00PM-3:00PM. The rates recently went up here from $14 - $20 (1 June 2011). The laundry room and bathroom are clean. I have stayed here before and will stay here again, but this famcamp definitely needs to be upgraded and cared for.

Pros: Large grassy sites, on river, nice bike/walking trail, friendly host. Cons: Can be very hot in August, otherwise none. This is an outstanding state park campground. Lots of outdoor activities, easy to book reservations. Great place to spend several days. I will definitely return.

Pros: Full hookups, level large sites, large rig friendly, very near ocean beach, trees for shelter. Cons: Can be windy. Cape Disappointment State Park is one of our favorite camping locations. The beach is only a short walk from your campsite. The park is open all year. We spent New Years at the park this year and will probably go again next year. The Lewis and Clark interpretive center is nearby and there are two lighthouses in the park. Hiking trails abound and kite flying on the beach is always fun. Several great restaurants are located nearby. 42nd Street Café in Seaview and Pelicano in Ilwaco are restaurants you would not expect to find in a small town. A trip is always made to the bakery in Long Beach. Very family friendly. We took our children and grandchildren in July. Lots of space for outdoor activities. We will definitely return.
